+ This position is responsible for assisting in the implementation of the care plan provided by the nursing team. This position provides basic care and interventions to designated patient populations. This position supports the operations of the patient care units through tasks delegated by the RN and through tasks assigned within their scope of practice. This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. 3. For modalities that use intravenous content, able to inject through and establish or create IV site by hand or power injector and successfully maintain site.
4. Performs all basic RIS, HIS and PACS functions.
5. Acts in accordance to and adheres to all Facility and Departmental policies.
6. Participates On Call and Rotating of shifts or facilities as assigned.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Successful completion of a two-year AMA accredited school in Radiologic Technology. Current certification as a Registered Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current state of Maryland licensure as a Radiographer. Current CPR certification.
