Annual Base Salary for newly appointed CBPOs varies as follows:
GS-5 and GS-7 $40,332 - $109,952 per year
Locality pay varies by duty location.Note: A fully trained CBPO is eligible for up to $45,000 in overtime pay in addition to the starting salary. Grade level eligibility and salaries vary depending upon background, including experience and education, and duty location of the opportunity. This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression of GS-5, GS-7, GS-9, GS-11, and GS-12. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without re-applying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in each grade level. Promotions are at the discretion of the agency. * Recruitment Incentive: Applicants may be eligible for a $40,000 recruitment incentive in accordance with regulatory requirements. The first installment of $15,000 will be paid following successful completion of Secret Service Criminal Investigator training. A second installment of $10,000 will be paid following one year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. The final installment of $15,000 will be paid after a third year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. Provision of these payments require the execution of a three-year Continued Service Agreement (CSA) with the agency. Newly hired employees who resign from the USSS prior to the expiration of the CSA will be required to repay the recruitment incentive. (NOTE: Eligibility is limited to "Newly appointed" Federal employees as defined by 5 CFR 575.102).

JOB SUMMARY
This position is located in the Technical Review Section in the Engineering Division of the Public Works Department within the City of Oklahoma City and is under the direction of an immediate supervisor. Engineering Assistant II is a full proficiency, para-professional classification focused on the design, administration, or supervision of a major component of an engineering function. Specialized work areas include water, storm sewer, paving, building construction, or sanitary sewer. This position is responsible for reviewing plans related to water and wastewater systems, providing planning services, and processing record information requests. The role involves collaborating with contractors, consultants, engineers, and other City departments to deliver support and guidance on water and wastewater utility matters.
JOB SUMMARY
This position is located in the Engineering Division of the Utilities Department within the City of Oklahoma City. Engineering Assistant I is a para-professional classification in which the worker must assume considerable responsibility for the design and generation of plans for proposed construction projects within an assigned area. Specialized work areas include paving, drainage, sanitary sewer, water lines, and airport construction. The required knowledge and skills of the assigned work unit must be acquired prior to assuming the position.
