We are hiring for support to the Department of the Navy (DoN), Program Executive Office Ships (PEO), Auxiliary and Special Mission Shipbuilding Program Office, PMS 325 and USN & FMS Boats and Craft Program Office, PMS 300. PMS 325 and PMS 300 deliver integrated ship, boat and craft products and services to U.S. and international maritime forces around the world. The PMS 325 and PMS 300 portfolio may include multiple Acquisition Category (ACAT) I through IV programs, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases with over 50 foreign partners, and many non-ACAT programs, typically managing approximately $12B+ across the Future Year Defense Program (FYDP). Programs will be in different stages of the acquisition process, requiring the scope of support to encompass all phases of the DOD Acquisition Life Cycle/Defense Acquisition Management Framework. This ranges from Pre-Systems Acquisition (Concept & Technology Development Phase), Systems Acquisition (System Development & Demonstration Phase and Production & Deployment Phase), and Sustainment (Operations & Support Phase).
This position will provide a full range of program management support to the Foreign Military Sales activity.
+ Provide engineering/technical support for concept studies; feasibility studies; preliminary design activities; contract design activities; detail design and construction activities; independent design reviews; In-service ship design and engineering activities; shipboard installation support; and special studies related to ships/boats/craft, ship systems and/or shipboard equipment.
+ Provide naval architecture, marine engineering, electrical engineering and in-depth engineering support for the Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E); Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Intelligence (C4I); and mission equipment and systems installed aboard ships, boats, craft and targets, including Combat Logistics Force (CLF), Special Mission Ships, and FMS assets.

- Accredited degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering or similar degree from a four-year university, and accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
- Desirable to have experience using naval architecture design tools and computer software. Examples are GHS, Rhino, NavCAD. On-site training provided.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Project.
- A basic understanding and use of AutoCAD is needed, as well as knowing basic drafting and drawing development standards.
- Applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain a security clearance issued by the US Government.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
