Qualifications and Minimum Requirements: Demonstrated success in managing multiple website properties across various regions, with an analytical eye for optimal user journey flows. Technical lead or lead developer on website projects Strong fluency or understanding of programming languages Knowledge and understanding of front-end and back-end development Proficiency with website platforms (e.g., HTML, CSS, WordPress, GitHub, etc). Experience writing code independently or with a group Intricate reporting skills and traffic analysis using GA4. Familiar with technical specifications and functional requirements documentation. This resource will develop both web applications and client server applications using Microsoft .NET technologies. Job Description Project/Program: NYS Tax Modernization This position will be in support of the NYS Tax Modernization Program. This program will encompass multiple projects to modernize legacy systems within the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance, which is responsible for billions in state revenue. Some of the major areas under modernization include: • Collections and Accounts Receivable. • Taxpayer Accounting. • Withholding Tax Returns Processing. Day-to-Day Tasks: The selected candidate will be a lead developer for the Tax Modernization effort and provide support for maintenance activities.
