The responsibility of a Subject Tutor is to offer in-person support to Newman students in their subject of expertise-such as biology, math, nursing, writing, etc. Tutors report to the Student Support Specialist who provides supervision, scheduling, and strategies for tutoring. Tutors must commit to continued professional development for the entirety of the semester. The job will begin in SPRING 2026. Subject Tutors should not only be proficient in their subject area but also patient, empathetic, and have the ability to listen and strategize. A goal of many sessions will be to help a student bridge the gap between confusion and comprehension. The Career Services Marketing and Communications Intern will implement multiple marketing platforms for the Director of Career Services including, but not limited to, Career Fair and workshop campaigns. Additionally, the Intern will be required to spearhead all communication plans with external employers working with Newman University Career Services. This includes answering Career Fair related questions, writing follow-up thank you communications, and encouraging businesses to complete Career Fair satisfaction surveys. The Security Officer is responsible for monitoring and responding to the need for security services for all areas within the boundaries of the Wichita campus. This includes maintaining the safety and security of all students, faculty, and staff on campus and the Provincial House personnel. The Assistant Director of Financial Aid serves as a key member of the enrollment management team. Responsibilities include overseeing advising students on application procedures, awarding, verifying and packaging processes, and resolving concerns and issues. The Mental Health Project Coordinator will oversee the implementation of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Grant. This position will serve all Newman campuses including outreach sites. The individual in this role will be required to represent the Student Success Center through cross-campus collaborations with faculty, deans, and departmental offices to promote mental health best practices and grant initiatives. This position is a one-year, grant-funded role supported by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Grant. The appointment is full-time (40 hours per week) for a duration of 12 months. Approximately 20 days off with pay are provided for observed holidays and breaks, along with two weeks of vacation time accrued per year. The Tennis Graduate Assistantship is designed to provide a learning experience for those interested in pursuing a career in coaching/college athletics. This person shall assist in day-to-day team operations. Working nights, weekends, and/or holidays is an essential function of this position. Available Position for the Spring Semester 2026. The Dugan Library is hiring for a student employee to start in the Spring 2026 semester. The main or circulation desk is often the first contact library users have with the library and its staff members must represent the library in a positive manner. Student assistants must be punctual and dependable. Evening hours are required. The Newman University Campus Activities Board (CAB) seeks to enrich the collegiate student experience by offering a wide range of co-curricular experiences for students, faculty, and staff. The job begins in the FALL 2025 Semester. Position Summary: The CAB Treasurer serves as a leader of the CAB Executive Committee and maintains the overall budgets for clubs for the academic year. This position is a tenure-track faculty position within the biology department. Teaching responsibilities include courses in (1) human pathophysiology, human physiology including corresponding labs that support the undergraduate Biology program, (2) advanced pathophysiology and advanced human physiology that support both the online Master program in Biomedical Science, and the in-person Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia program, and (3) additional biology courses for pre-medical and other pre-health professional students.
