* Requests will be taken from: hospitals, clinics, medical assistance companies, flight teams or related entities.
* Dispatcher/Customer Service Agent will then coordinate the transportation request and send to the most appropriate unit based on: unit availability, unit location, travel time, etc.
* He/she shall be responsible for: dispatching and call taking for NORCAL Ambulance crews to both the emergency and interfacility setting, including emergency and private callers.
* The Dispatcher will operate tracking, radio or cell phone communication equipment to monitor the status of field personnel and units.
* The dispatcher will perform other related tasks and duties as assigned by the departmental leadership.
Primary Daily Duties:
The Dispatcher/Customer Service Agent may be assigned to one or more duties. These duties include, but are not limited to the following:
* Receive and prioritize all incoming requests for dispatch.
* Efficiently dispatch units to emergency and non-emergency calls in a timely manner.
* Demonstrate the ability to make accurate moment-to-moment decision making in regard to the dispatch of emergency and non-emergency vehicles.
* Effectively triage all incoming requests for service and sends the appropriate unit according to Northwest Ambulance policy and procedure.
* Obtain required information from party requesting medical transport.
* Maintain professional telecommunication contact with field units and other agencies.
* Demonstrate the ability to effectively use the dispatch paging system, iPhone, land lines, and all portable or mounted radios; troubleshoots problems including mechanical/equipment problems and contact the operations manager as appropriate.
* Participate in required training programs.
* Perform basic data entry.
* Provide excellent customer service to all callers and crew members.

h. Works proactively with the training department to ensure periodic training course/certifications are met for all team members such as yearly, quarterly or other term-related courses/ certifications (i.e., sexual harassment, OSHA Safety meeting requirements, etc.,) in a timely manner.
4. Miscellaneous Administrative or HR Services:
a. Answer phones and provide information as needed. Transfer calls to appropriate extensions or take messages as needed.
b. Assist in the setup and breakdown of staff/office events and activities
c. Send team member reminders for expiring certifications, trainings and other requirements
d. Complete basic level employment verification requests
e. Other administrative duties including preparing correspondence, copying, faxing, scanning, filing, and mailing services as assigned.

The Department is staffed by board-certified pediatric emergency physicians. In addition to their years of experience in providing pediatric emergency care, our emergency specialists have undergone a minimum of three years of general pediatric training plus an additional two to three years of fellowship training in pediatric emergency medicine.
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires: A) a graduate from an accredited nursing program. BSN strongly preferred; B) an active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN); C) Life Support Certifications (see specifics below); and D) experience to correlate with Clinical Ladder level. Bilingual skills desirable.

The base salary range for this role is:
$228,000 - $285,000: New York City and San Francisco
$205,200 - $256,500: All other Hub Offices
This role qualifies for an additional annual bonus.

About the Role

What you'll do at Persona Corporate Development & M&A
