As a Humanoid Robot Operator, you will work at the forefront of our customer fleet operations, deploying Figure humanoid robots into automotive manufacturing use cases, identifying issues, and relaying feedback to onsite and offsite engineering teams. You may also collect new data to train our AI systems and work with the AI team to refine behaviors over time.
Responsibilities:
Successful operation of one or more humanoid robots operating in a specific customer use case for the duration of an operating shift
Observe robot operations and document robot issues during operation, including reviewing observed issues with onsite and offsite engineering teams
Complete end-of-day robot operations reporting, including performance and productivity metrics
May control the robot remotely by wearing a teleoperating suit for robot training purposes
Maintain a safe environment for both yourself and the robot at all times
Follow proper equipment and robot service procedures, including bring-up and shutdown and physical inspection
Requirements:

Position Responsibilities:
Set-up and operate CNC Vertical Mills.
Operate multiple machines simultaneously.
Make machine adjustments as needed.
Maintain excellent quality and high efficiency.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as comparators, indicators, calipers, height gauges, and micrometers, to inspect and adhere to close tolerance requirements.
Comply with all Company safety regulations.
Maintain housekeeping and organization.
Follow 5S, lean manufacturing principles, and ISO standards.
Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the Quality System (e.g., applicable inspection, verification, and disposition procedures, and/or instructions and forms required as part of the process).
May be required to perform other jobs as needed by the Company.
Essential Skills and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent
At least 3-5 years of CNC Milling/Lathing operational experience
Strong math background, preferably in machine/shop math
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints

4. Inspects parts, tooling, and material to specifications.
5. Maintains area, equipment, and tooling in safe, clean and satisfactory operating condition.
6. Monitors work to ensure that machine is functioning properly.
7. Works from draft drawings and written instructions to create replacement and new parts as well as for tooling or prototype equipment.
8. Identify production standards for set-up and machine times
**EXPERIENCE**
1. Minimum of 5 years machining experience including ability to set-up / operate preferred. Strong knowledge of machining, machining practices, tooling, drafting, CNC machines, controls, programming, measuring equipment and techniques.
2. Ability to program CNC lathes and VMC machines
3. Ability to troubleshoot CNC operating/programming issues.
4. Demonstrated verbal and written communication as well as mid-level math skills.

With tolerances to 0.0005”, each machinist will complete regular quality checks, control scrap and productivity, and manage set-up and tool changes. Materials processed include Stainless Steel, Titanium, Aluminum, and Delrin. This role will be responsible for safety, compliance, quality, raw material loading, housekeeping, and be flexible for assignment changes, occasional overtime, and other duties as required.
Requirements
Identifies and corrects problems while running multiple 3 axis production lathes
Holds tolerance to .0005 inches
Demonstrates fluency in G-code with an aptitude for machine-specific codes
Reads and fully understands technical drawings and setup sheets
Changes tool blocks, boring bars, and end mills
Operates multiple CNC machines (e.g., Okuma, Mori Seiki, Tsugami, Doosan, etc.)
Modifies programming for offsets, tool counts, etc.
Completes all changeovers, tool changes, and adjustments independently
Ability to train in changeover and set-up programming skills
Experienced and capable to operate multiple machines and all part types
Communicates effectively with peers, leaders, and support functions
Applies critical thinking for efficient problem solving
Demonstrates adaptability and appropriate interpersonal skills
Qualifications
Must be a U.S. Citizen due to ITAR regulations
Machine Tool Technology Degree -or- 3+ years relevant experience in manufacturing
Familiarity with types and uses of various micrometers and other measuring devices
Able to lift 50 lbs. on occasion
Requires constant standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the workday.
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, including working in and around moving parts, chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.
Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the duration of work schedule
