Working Procedure 1) Receive oral and written information from area supervisor area engineer or programmer and perform needed operations per instructions. 2) Set up, adjust and maintain set up on all production machinery in the parts manufacturing environment. 3) Set up and operate production or support machinery to modify parts per appropriate specifications, making necessary inspection check to ensure conformance to quality standards. 4) Monitor progress of work throughout departments to ensure compliance with specifications. Re-write or edit part program data when necessary. 5) Develop fixtures, clamping devices and non-standard machine tooling when necessary. Work without M.P.s as required. 6) Maintain necessary production and inventory records with the use of a personal computer, including but not limited to: run-time data, S.P.C. and machine program downloading following Kanban guidelines. 7) Perform specified preventative maintenance as required. 8) Follow and maintain safety rules and practices. 9) Perform required housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
