Other duties may be assigned. * Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, CNC program, and specifications to determine machining operations. * Use precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure accuracy of machined parts. * Perform final inspections and document results as required. * Setup & operate lathe and milling machines. * Install program, setup and efficiently manufacture quality precision parts per print/drawing. * Follows and promotes safety and safely perform all job tasks. * Demonstrate respectful workplace behavior. * Assemble and disassemble tooling for machining operations. * Test and perform preventative maintenance. * Understand basic operation and use of electrical test equipment. * Understand electrical arc flash protection code requirements & understand basic electrical circuits. * Understand basic function of PLC, drives and controls. * Understand types of conduit and conduit fittings. * Demonstrate ability to cut, bend and install pipe. * Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards. * Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes. * Utilize hand tools and power tools as necessary. * Continually evaluate processes for improvements. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS & EDUCATIONS * Minimum of 2 years of experience as a machinist or similar role * Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings * Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) experience. * Basic PC skills (MS Windows) * Ability to work in a team environment and self-direct activities. * Strong customer focus * Continued technical training required each year.
