We are seeking a CNC/Laser Programmer to join our Engineering team. This role is dedicated to programming and CAD/CAM support - not machine operation. The Programmer will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining programs and CAD files for CNC laser and fabrication equipment, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and manufacturability.
The ideal candidate has strong CAD/CAM expertise, experience in nesting and toolpath optimization, and a collaborative mindset to support both Engineering and Production.
Key Responsibilities

Strong understanding of fabrication processes (cutting, bending, assembly).
Experience with nesting, toolpath optimization, and CAD file preparation.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and version control discipline.

Shift Hours:
1st Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm
2nd Shift:2:00pm to 10:30pm
includes a .50 shift differential
3rd Shift: 10:00pm to 6:30am
includes a 10% shift differential

Find a Career you LOVE at JCT! If you are a team player, we have been searching for you! 2nd shift Manual Vertical Lathe Operator. You would be responsible for your own setup and operation of our 42" to 74" lathes to machine steel, aluminum, nickel and copper.
