AERONES, a Global Leader in advanced Wind Turbine maintenance and robotics, is seeking a Wind Turbine Robotics Operator focused on Robotics services to join our U.S. Operations Team. This position is also known as Wind Field Technician. We specialize in cutting-edge robotic solutions that ensure safety, efficiency, and top-tier service for the wind energy industry.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to travel to wind farms across the country, with all accommodation and travel expenses fully covered by the Company. You will be performing inspections, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on wind turbines - ensuring peak performance and safety standards are met.
GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) and GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART) Full certifications will be required to undertake the role.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Maintenance and operation of robotic systems used for cleaning, inspection, and repair of wind turbines.
Performing routine inspections on turbines to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Preventative maintenance on wind turbines and associated systems to reduce downtime and maximize energy production.
Fault diagnosis and resolution of technical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and technology.
Reporting and documentation of work completed, including identifying issues, repairs, and maintenance performed.
Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.

Verify conformance of first piece to specifications using calipers, protractors, gauges, and measuring tape. Gauge work pieces randomly through run to ensure maintenance of settings and make adjustments as necessary.
Perform quality checks, complete check lists, verify counts, record time per job and ensure compliance with production schedules. Submit production documentation as required.
Stage completed parts for movement or move to subsequent operations to maintain workflow.
Maintain a clean and safe work area. Take responsibility for the physical inventory of materials. Request material reorders as necessary.

Collins Aerospace is looking for a Machinist I who will produce machined parts by setting up and operating a CNC or manual machines (Mills, lathes, bandsaws, etc.) and using precision hand measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)
This position will work onsite in San Marcos, TX.
What You Will Do:
Work 2nd Shift hours (3pm - 11:30pm) Monday - Friday
Interprets blueprints, work orders, engineering plans, specifications, reference planes, material, and dimensional requirements.
Assembles, repairs, and fabricates metal parts into sub-units or complete units using operating mechanical equipment.
Takes measurements of material and selects appropriate machines for the process.
Performs machining setups and adjusts as required.
Conducts inspections of work produced.
Checks SPC charts for frequency of checks, gauging and measurements.
Keeps records and maintains quality/safety standards.
Preforms other duties as assigned
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically a HS diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
1 year minimum of relevant machine operation experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
5 Axis experience
Understand and able to interpret machine code
Familiarity with controllers (FANUC, HAAS)

The salary range for this role is $34,653 - $60,592 annually; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.

SHIFT

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Align and secure materials on the laser cutting table.
Load and interpret CAD files or other design inputs into the machine's control interface.
Adjust machine settings like power, speed, and focus based on material type and thickness.
Operate the machine to cut or engrave as per the design, ensuring accuracy and precision.
Regularly inspect cut or engraved components to verify they meet the specified dimensions and quality standards.
Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain consistent product quality.
Conduct daily checks to ensure the laser cutter is in optimal working condition.
Clean the machine, including laser lens and nozzle, to prevent build-ups or obstructions.
Schedule and perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lens replacement or alignment checks.
Ensure the laser safety barrier or enclosure is intact and functional.
Monitor the fume extraction system to ensure proper ventilation and filtration.
Keep track of material usage to minimize waste.
Handle materials carefully to prevent damage or warping.
Keep logs of completed jobs, including deviations or issues.
Document maintenance activities and any significant machine downtimes.
Troubleshoot minor machine issues or operational errors.
Adjust parameters based on material properties to achieve desired results.
Understands how to manage daily work expectations and goals.
Follows all safety policies and standards.
Capable and willing to train other employees.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Over two years' experience operating CO2 or Fiber CNC laser-cutting machines. Cincinnati or Mitsubishi, preferred but not required.
Understanding of flat print drawing
Forklift experience.
Thorough understanding of CNC processes is helpful.
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
The individual must have exposure to metal fabrication concepts and processes.
Must possess the ability to operate overhead cranes, tape measure, caliper, basic hand tools and air tools.
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds with an assist.
