Position Summary
Seeking an RN, LPN or LVN in Northern Louisiana for this Remote/Field based position with 2+ years’ experience in Quality Measures or HEDIS. Will serve as a Clinical Nurse Liaison for external groups and providers regarding clinical information from the Operations and Medical Management teams
The Clinical Nurse Liaison is will be responsible for working with our provider/practices and educating them on the benefits of our Value Based Incentive program. This is an incredible opportunity to work with providers to help drive healthier outcomes in our members by fostering relationships with provider practices in Northern Louisiana by ensuring that our providers are educated on the advantages of the program.
Clinical Nurse Liaison Responsibilities
· Implement and manage procedures for tracking, identifying and problem-solving operational issues
· Interpret and present program results and develop data-driven analysis and metrics used to measure effectiveness and ROI of all current and new products
· Act as the clinical representative in various meetings
· Collaborate with staff to identify internal and external opportunities and initiate process changes to increase quality and improve staff, provider and member satisfaction
· Serve as a resource and liaison on utilization, quality improvement, and case management activities
· Partner with various staff, along with internal and external departments on provider education and outreach
· Partner with regional leadership for providers requiring a clinical interpretation of results related to health plan reporting, data, and quality incentive payments
· Support community and member initiatives with a focus on at risk targets
· 50% travel required (3 days per week)
Clinical Nurse Liaison Requirements
· LPN or LVN license. RN license preferred.
· 4+ years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a large primary care office or clinic setting working with Medicaid or the uninsured.
· Experience in conflict management or data reporting and evaluation.
· Experience working in managed care, utilization management, case management, or quality improvement preferred.
· Previous HEDIS, Quality Measures and/or Value Based Incentive Programs knowledge needed.
· Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Experience:
1) Three years recent experience specific to Intensive Care Nursing, including cardiac rhythm analysis.
2) Two years’ experience in monitoring of Moderate Sedation.
3) Three to five years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
1) Knowledge and experience in administering medications for Moderate Sedation, under physician supervision, and monitoring patients under Moderate Sedation including pre-procedure patient assessment, intra-procedure patient monitoring, and post-procedure patient monitoring and assessment.
2) Knowledge of theory and rationale of exercise and pharmacologic cardiac stress testing, and possess skills to directly oversee and or assist physician in performance of testing, including hook-up for electrocardiographic monitoring, checking of pre-test and exercise blood pressures, and monitoring patients post-testing.
3) Skill in placement of peripheral intravenous lines.
