Overview
The Operations Team Member is responsible to help with the setup/clean-up of events as well as maintenance and up-keep of the venue. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, this position prepares the arena for events, including arranging chairs and tables, athletic floors, and monitors and troubleshoots during the event to respond to malfunctions and other needs.
This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00-$18.00.

Responsibilities
Responsible for correct set up and tear down for events
Flexible hours - daytime, leate evening, overnight and early morning hours
Maintains in a clean and presentable manner
Responsible for keeping all areas in safe, clean condition
Keeps front entrance and outside areas clean and trash picked up
Responsible for converting the facility from one event to the next
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining needs of the facility
Qualifications
Some knowledge of a variety of building and other trades including electric, plumbing, small engine and carpentry
Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools for the safe and effective maintenance and repair of arena facilities and equipment
Ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions
Ability to communicate efectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public, customers, vendors, and promoters

Overview
The Guest Relations Parking Coordinator reports directly to the Event Manager. This position is a key player in ensuring exceptional experiences for our guests, employees, and stakeholders. Responsibilities
Maintain Pan American Center core values while working on the property.
Must be able to legally operate vehicles.
Inspect parking lots several times throughout the day.
Assist Pan American Center leadership with the traffic management program and monitoring real-time parking data.
Maintain departmental assets, equipment, uniforms, supplies, etc.
Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training part-time ushers and parking staff.
Ensure event checklists are followed & completed for the entirety of the event.
Serve as the lead in the escalation of guest questions, parking questions, and any issues reported.
Assist in overseeing guest services operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Reports traffic incidents in lots to leadership.
Assisting leadership by gathering information to respond to guest inquiries and investigate complaints/concerns.
Assisting with the continuous evaluation and adjustment of the pedestrian and vehicle wayfinding signage program.
Create post-event reports and recaps of event night service incidents to identify trends and
offer guidance and solutions for guest experience and operational improvements.
Develops and maintains effective working relationships with clients, partners, and all
Stakeholders.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required
Qualifications
Previous experience in event operations or parking operations is preferred but not required.
Passion for providing the highest quality service and putting guests' needs before their own needs.
Must be a creative problem solver who can identify solutions and address guest concerns
efficiently and professionally while remaining calm under pressure.
Must be adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Position Summary
The Event Manager will manage every aspect of their assigned events from the advance planning through the end of the event; oversee building and t-shirt security, guest services, and interact with local public safety officials to ensure events run smoothly. This position reports to the Director of Operations.
This role pays an annual salary of $45,000-$50,000

About the Venue
Pan American Center is a multi-purpose arena in Las Cruces, New Mexico, located on the campus of New Mexico State University. The arena has a current seating capacity of 12,515 people. The arena serves as home of the New Mexico State Aggies Men's and Women's Basketball and Women's Volleyball Teams.
Responsibilities
Directs two hundred part-time event staff (ushers/ticket takers/back of house security/parking employees to strategically enhance the guest and client experience for over 200 events per year.
Develop and implement a comprehensive guest service program.
Meets with client groups to plan and organize assigned meetings and/or events.
Creates AutoCAD for events.
Consult exhibit managers, promoters, athletic representatives, and others concerning physical set-up needs and requirements for licensed areas; prepare work orders and cost-estimates accordingly.
Keeps clients informed as to the status of deadline schedules, including but not limited to floor plan submissions, meeting room set-up specifications, insurance requirements, and other relevant details.
Prepares cost estimates and monitors final billing.
Maintains event-related reports, information, and files.
Ensure staff compliance with all applicable company policies and procedures.
Guides clients in preparation of events by interpreting and explaining contract provisions, policies, and procedures.
Maintain event operations equipment (radios, metal detection wands, etc.).
Make hospitality arrangements as needed.
Create and distribute detailed information sheets before every event.
Prepare and approve payroll for all event staff.
Review emergency planning procedures with all event staff for each event.
Provide leadership and guidance for event personnel.
Work a flexible schedule, including long nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Develop collateral materials for employees and fans such as the Accessibility Guide, Event Handbook, and Guest Services Assistance Documents.
Act as manager on duty as required.
Create work schedules for event staff, medical, police, maintenance, and operations.
Recommend and evaluate required event staffing levels
Investigate and resolve event-related complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Assist in the preparation of the building to meet the requirements of upcoming events/shows.
Develops and maintains effective working relationships with clients, partners, and all Stakeholders.

Qualifications
3-5 years' experience managing events/operations in a large-scale event setting.
Bachelor's Degree in Sport/Event Management, Hospitality, Training & Education, or Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the field.
At least two years' experience in a management position with full supervisory and decision-making responsibility, preferably managing a large staff.
Passion for providing the highest quality service and putting guests' needs before their own needs first.
Must be a creative problem solver who can identify solutions and address guest concerns efficiently and professionally while remaining calm under pressure.
Must be adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Overview
Under supervision of Box Office Manager and Assistant Box Office Manager, responsible for ticket sales and customer service for all ticketed events at Pan American Center at New Mexico State University.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $15.00.

Responsibilities
Know and understand the operations of the Paciolan ticketing system
Familiarize yourself with each event (ticket prices, discounts, restrictions, reserved or general admission seating,etc.)
Know and understand seating charts and configurations of the DLTCC
Perform transactionsfor all events on the ticketing system with efficiency and accuracy
Collect proper currency or credit card amount for purchase of ticket(s) as well as give back proper number of tickets and correct change
Communicate and satisfy patrons with world class customer service
Operate phone and address call in patrons' requestsforinformation
Reconcile all moniesreceived from ticketsales
Maintain confidentiality
Additional duties may be assigned by Box Office Director or Box Office Supervisor
Qualifications
Ability to multitask in a fast‐paced environment
Familiarity with Windows based computers
Possess excellent customerservice skills
Experience working with the public and cash
Ability to work independently and as a productive member of a team

Overview
The Event Manager will manage every aspect of their assigned events from the advance planning through the end of the event; oversee building and t-shirt security, guest services, and interact with local public safety officials to ensure events run smoothly. Responsibilities
Directs two hundred part-time event staff (ushers/ticket takers/back of house security/parking employees to strategically enhance the guest and client experience for over 200 events per year.
Develop and implement a comprehensive guest service program.

Creates AutoCAD for events.
Consult exhibit managers, promoters, athletic representatives, and others concerning physical set-up needs and requirements for licensed areas; prepare work orders and cost-estimates accordingly.
Keeps clients informed as to the status of deadline schedules, including but not limited to floor plan submissions, meeting room set-up specifications, insurance requirements, and other relevant details.
Prepares cost estimates and monitors final billing.
Maintains event-related reports, information, and files.

Guides clients in preparation of events by interpreting and explaining contract provisions, policies, and procedures.
Maintain event operations equipment (radios, metal detection wands, etc.).
Make hospitality arrangements as needed.
Create and distribute detailed information sheets before every event.
Prepare and approve payroll for all event staff.
Review emergency planning procedures with all event staff for each event.
Provide leadership and guidance for event personnel.
Work a flexible schedule, including long nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Develop collateral materials for employees and fans such as the Accessibility Guide, Event Handbook, and Guest Services Assistance Documents.
Act as manager on duty as required.
Create work schedules for event staff, medical, police, maintenance, and operations.
Recommend and evaluate required event staffing levels
Investigate and resolve event-related complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Assist in the preparation of the building to meet the requirements of upcoming events/shows.

Qualifications
3-5 years' experience managing events/operations in a large-scale event setting.
Bachelor's Degree in Sport/Event Management, Hospitality, Training & Education, or Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the field.
At least two years' experience in a management position with full supervisory and decision-making responsibility, preferably managing a large staff.
Passion for providing the highest quality service and putting guests' needs before their own needs first.
Must be a creative problem solver who can identify solutions and address guest concerns efficiently and professionally while remaining calm under pressure.
Must be adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an expert ability to present and communicate new ideas and concepts.
Ability to work event nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Auto CAD experience required
Knowledgeable in ADA code and compliance
Proficient in all Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Event and Operations experience with large-scale events in a stadium, concert, or multi-use facility setting of a similar size (10,000 seats) is highly desirable.
