• Implement end-to-end BI reporting solutions using Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) 11g.

• Work with business experts to understand business needs, translate business requirements into system functionality, and ensure that results meet established needs, goals, and timelines.

• Successfully deliver on multiple assignments by self-directing, prioritizing, and managing tasks and demands.

• Interact cross-functionally with a wide variety of IT and business stakeholders.

• Delivering results through strong leadership and a focus on what’s best for our customers and users.

• Collaborate with the quality assurance team in developing testing plans and streamlining testing activities.

• Adhere to and enforce USG’s software development methodology and standards, which include functional and technical designs, code reviews, unit & integration testing.

• Clearly document and communicate technical designs, solutions, and issues.

• Assist in the training and development of other team members, contribute toward the continuous improvement of the BI team, and help to build the capabilities of the IT department.

• Maintain a strong focus on positive customer experience through all interactions and delivered products.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management methodology

• Deep competency in Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) tools, techniques, architectures, and operations

• Ability to effectively communicate with business users and translate business requirements into system functionality.

• Experience in designing and developing OBIEE RPD components to apply business rules and present information

• Understanding of best practices and development standards for OBIEE

• Experience in OBIEE 11g security and server administration

• Performance tuning skills – SQL and OBIEE

• Experience in designing and developing Analytics and Dashboards

• In-depth knowledge of formal dimensional and relational data design principles and practices

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively on diverse teams to design and deploy Business Intelligence systems

• Strong data / process analysis and modeling skills using modern tools

• Ability to assimilate knowledge quickly in a variety of domains and adept at leading discussions to articulate questions that are of value

• Effective Team player Preferred Skills

• Oracle APEX development experience

• Experience with Informatica ETL design • Knowledge of Data Warehousing methodologies, architectures, and technologies that are used to transform data into useable and actionable information • Experience designing reports in BI Publisher

• Agile methodology knowledge

Infosys is seeking an OBIEE or OAC Consultant. The position will primary be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and applying Oracle Financials domain and technical proficiency across different stages of the project including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You should be able to create high level design artifacts and detailed solution design lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty, validating requirements with product offerings, working with relevant stakeholders for product customization requests. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the business discussion interaction and co-ordination with offshore. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
* At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
* Good experience with OBIEE, OAS or OAC.
* Location for this position is Chicago, IL or Infosys hubs or Indianapolis, IN. This position may require travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

* At least 4 years of experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment.
* At least 3 years of hands-on experience in OBIEE.
* Exposure to design, modeling and build of RPD.
* Expertise in performance tuning of OBIEE reports and RPD.
* Ability to analyze performance issues and fix them.
* Demonstrated experience in creating advanced visualization using OBIEE, BI Publisher and OAS Data Visualization.
* Complete working knowledge of OBIEEOAS security (users, objects, and data level) and caching capabilities.
* Experience with data sets, data flows and advanced analytics.
* Experience with designing and implementing data visualizations and UX.
* Good knowledge of general data warehouse and BI concepts.
* Good experience with data modelling - dimensional modelling.
* Good exposure to ETL and data integration.
* Strong Oracle SQL skills.
* Strong data analysis skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Well versed with Agile ways of working.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
