An on-site technician is a skilled professional who manages the operations in facilities and ensures that the worksite complies with statutory health, safety, and environmental codes and provisions.
Together with other team leads, they improve the site systems, organize site surveys, and maintain the site safely. The on-site technician provides technical support, identifies and addresses the site issues, and gives assistance in securing permits for worksite operations. They also take charge of the corrective maintenance of facilities and repair efforts when the equipment and utility systems malfunction or break down.
Pursuing this job require candidates to earn a bachelor's degree in electronics and communications, telecommunications, computer science, or any related field. Some employers may prefer candidates with a higher degree.
