Job Description
OnPay is a fast-growing software company headquartered in Atlanta, offering a modern cloud-based payroll, HR, and benefits solution for small to midsize businesses. We're currently seeking talented and curious individuals to join our team. We want to hear from you if you are interested in joining an exciting and fast-growing company!
Learn more at OnPay.com
We're on a mission to combine excellent customer service with payroll expertise and superb technology - and we are scaling fast as we've just raised $100 million in growth funding led by Carrick Capital Partners.
If you're a competitive, consultative closer who thrives in a fast-moving environment and loves helping businesses succeed, this is the perfect time to join a high-growth SaaS company that's redefining what payroll software should be.
The Role
As an Account Executive, you'll be a key driver of OnPay's next phase of growth. You'll engage prospective clients, uncover their payroll, HR, and benefits challenges, and show how OnPay's all-in-one platform can help put them in a better place.
You'll manage the full sales cycle - from outreach and discovery through demo, negotiation, and close - while collaborating closely with internal teams (Onboarding, Implementation, Benefits, and Partnerships) to ensure every client's success.
This role is remote-friendly and open to talented sales professionals anywhere in the U.S. With the opportunity to work from our beautiful Atlanta HQ at Ponce City Market, if you reside in the Atlanta metro area.
What Sets This Opportunity Apart
Our marketing and channel partner engine delivers thousands of qualified leads to this team every month, providing a strong, consistent pipeline from day one.
You'll represent a platform that rivals any in the payroll and HR space - consistently rated a top performer for usability, customer satisfaction, and service.
OnPay's transparent, straightforward pricing and exceptional client experience make your job easier - no hidden fees, no surprises, just a product you can stand behind with pride.
Although you'll have hundreds of leads to close, we're looking for someone who is also comfortable with cold outreach and can create new opportunities when needed.
You'll have the autonomy to own your pipeline, the backing of a collaborative team, and the resources of a company that's investing heavily in growth.
What You'll Do
Engage and convert a steady flow of qualified inbound leads from marketing and partner channels.
Consult with business owners and decision-makers to understand their payroll, HR, and benefits needs - and tailor OnPay's solution accordingly.
Own the entire sales process, from qualification to negotiation and closed/won.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Onboarding, Benefits, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure clients are set up for long-term success.
Maintain high activity levels, manage multiple opportunities at once, and drive results with urgency.
Conduct outbound prospecting and cold outreach to generate new opportunities and expand the existing pipeline.
Constantly improve: test new outreach methods, refine your pitch, and share insights to elevate the team.
What You Bring
2-5 years of client-facing or full-cycle sales experience (SaaS or payroll, HRtech, or benefits experience a plus).
Proven track record of closing - able to move from first contact to signed deal efficiently and confidently.
Strong comfort with both inbound and outbound selling - including cold calls and consultative outreach.
Excellent communication skills: persuasive, professional, and relationship-oriented.
Coachable, curious, and adaptable - thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Highly organized and disciplined - able to manage your pipeline with precision and urgency.
A dynamic, energetic self-starter who takes ownership of results and drives toward goals.
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

AI Automation Engineer
Nfinity Athletic 4.4
Atlanta, GA job
in Atlanta**
***Cheerleading experience or exposure a plus***
Nfinity Athletic builds the gear, events, and technology that power modern cheerleading. We run a high-volume business across e-commerce, events, and team sales, with Salesforce and Shopify at the center.
We are a culture-first company. That does not mean soft. It means we care how people show up: reliable, direct, high ownership, and aligned. If you want politics, ambiguity, or a slow pace, this is not the place.
The Role
We are hiring a forward-deployed AI automation engineer to embed in the business and build working systems that move revenue. This is not a research job. This is not a prompt-only job. You will connect our tools, ship automations weekly, and build agent-style workflows that take real actions with guardrails.
You will work across Sales, E-commerce, Events, Customer Support, and internal ops. Your output is measured in shipped workflows and measurable lifts, not activity.
What You Will Own
AI + Automation across the ecosystem
Identify the highest ROI workflows to automate across Sales, E-comm, Events, Support, Ops.
Build agent-style workflows that can take actions (create/update records, trigger sequences, route conversations) with logging and audit trails.
Revenue engine (Salesforce + Shopify)
Lead-to-order automation, lifecycle tagging, attribution, and follow-up discipline.
Speed-to-lead improvements, pipeline hygiene enforcement, and conversion lift.
Chat-based selling
Implement chat flows that qualify intent, recommend next best action, recover carts, and route high-intent conversations to humans with full context.
Ensure chats and outcomes are captured in Salesforce, cleanly and consistently.
Operational leverage + reliability
Monitoring, error handling, retries, and clean logs. You build things that survive production.
Reduce manual work by replacing “tribal process” with systems.
Partner execution control
Keep outsourced e-comm partners on a tight backlog, clear acceptance criteria, QA, and weekly releases. You don't manage people, you manage output.
What Success Looks Like
First 30 days
Map the top 10 workflows worth automating. Ship 2 production automations with logging and rollback plan.
By 60 days
Chat-to-lead and chat-to-order workflows live with tracking. Weekly release cadence established. Baseline metrics defined.
By 90 days
6 to 10 workflows shipped. Measurable lift in at least one: conversion rate, cart recovery, speed-to-lead, show rate, AOV, or manual hours eliminated.
Who We Want
You are a builder who ships, not a talker who demos.
Required
3 to 7 years in Business Systems, RevOps automation, Salesforce automation, or e-commerce ops with heavy automation ownership.
Strong Salesforce: objects, flows, permissions, reporting.
Strong Shopify: customer/order data, tags, Shopify Flow, app ecosystem.
Integrations: APIs/webhooks, auth, data mapping, logging, retries, idempotency basics.
Can write lightweight code (Python or JavaScript/TypeScript) to get real work done.
Strong signals
You can explain what broke after launch and how you made it reliable.
You measure impact and can tie your work to revenue or hours saved.
You are comfortable in a fast, direct culture where outcomes matter.
Not a Fit If
You want to do research, not implementation.
You avoid accountability, deadlines, or direct feedback.
You need a lot of management to stay on track.
You cannot show systems you personally shipped into production.
Hiring Process
Finalists complete a short paid practical that mirrors real work: design and implement a chat-to-Salesforce/Shopify workflow with logging, guardrails, and error handling. We care more about what you shipped than your pedigree.
