Summary/Objective: The Class A CDL Operator will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials.
The Class A CDL Operator will be responsible for driving and operating efficiently and safely all power equipment and vehicles in accordance with DOT laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Haul equipment and gear from job site to job site.
Assist crews in setting up equipment.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be willing to travel out of state and work a rotational schedule up to 1-month out depending on job/project requirements.
1 Years' experience required behind an 18-wheeler.
Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Must have no Automatic Restriction. Must be legally allowed to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
Must possess a valid TWIC card or be capable of obtaining one.
Must possess a valid DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate) or be able to obtain one.
Must pass a hair follicle and urine drug screen.
Must be capable of passing a personal background screen.
Must be capable of passing an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) background screen.
Commercial Driver runs under the FMCSA 70-hour rule.
Willing to respond to emergency calls 24 hours, 7 days a week as needed.
Willing to perform all required job duties in accordance with training.
Willing to perform all job duties in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Willing to understand and follow all given directions.
Physical Requirements:
Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
Physically capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
Physically capable of standing and/or walking continuously for long periods of time.
Physically capable of climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, and kneeling.
Physically capable of working in all inclement weather conditions.
