Role Summary:
The key responsibility for the Shuttle Driver will be to safely transport employees to and from assigned destinations using occupancy passenger buses. The Shuttle Drivers are responsible for performing pre- and post-trip inspections in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines; cleaning buses, interior and exterior, based on posted schedule; checking tire pressure and fluid levels and refuel as necessary. The Shuttle Drivers will also be expected to notify supervisor(s) and/or manager of any vehicle maintenance needs; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications. The ideal candidate for this role will exemplify the philosophy and mission of Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa.
This role is a flexible position (AM / PM), and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights. We have a full-time position(s) available.
Essential Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent vocational training.
Ability to communicate in English with guests, visitors and hotel staff to their understanding.

Minimum, valid Class C, Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger (P) endorsement
1 year of experience in similar position of transporting passengers.

Missions :
The shuttle driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting hoteliers between one of our offices to the hotel property. As part of the ultra-luxury brand, you will uphold the highest standards of professionalism, punctuality and courtesy to ensure a positive and seamless experience for our staff and operations.
Profile :
Safely operate a hotel shuttle vehicle (van or small bus) to transport employees along predetermined routes between the office and the hotel.
Adhere strictly to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times to support efficient hoteliers commuting and operational needs.
Greet hoteliers courteously upon boarding, assist with any belongings if needed, and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor at all times.
Maintain the shuttle interior and exterior in good conditions, reflecting the luxury standards.
Complete inspections on daily basis, including checking fuel levels, tire pressure, lights, brakes, and overall cleanliness.
Report any vehicle maintenance issues, accidents or incidents immediately to management.
Follow traffic laws, safely regulations, and hotel policies.
Coordinate with the management team any schedule changes or special transport request.

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a professional driver, preferably in van driver, transportation, or hospitality services.

Responsibilities of a Driver
Responsible for pre and post trip inspections of all tractor trailers and straight trucks in accordance with DOT regulations.
Pick up material from supplier locations and deliver to SA and customer locations as directed by dispatch.
Secure all cargo for transport using chains, straps, binders, and/or tarps.
Communicate any safety or equipment issues with management.
Operate effectively and safely on all staging areas, parking surfaces, and roads.
Perform pre/post trip inspections as required and maintain all required logs of driving hours and vehicle service and repair status.
Use personal protective equipment as required by SA Recycling, its customers, and as required by the type of material being transported.
Qualifications of a Driver
High School diploma, GED Certification, or equivalent work experience.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with roll off experience.
Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
Minimum 21 years old.
Must be able to pass a DOT physical and meet all qualifications of the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations (FMCSR).
Three (3) plus years' experience operating Roll Off desired.
Must be registered in Clearinghouse as required by the FMCSR.
Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
