The Pneumatic/Vacuum Truck Operator will be responsible for driving and operating efficiently and safely all power equipment and vehicles in accordance with DOT laws and regulations. Responsibilities: Operate and set up all necessary equipment in accordance with operation training, guidelines and safety procedures. Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective gear. Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and industrial settings. Manually clean, install, fit repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment. Assist in general maintenance of company equipment, service, grease, etc. Wash and clean company equipment - Pressure wash, clean cabs, etc. General housekeeping - sweeping floors, taking out trash, and helping keep work areas clean and organized. Help with future job load outs or unloads from previous jobs - Return equipment and PPE back to designated areas. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent 1 Years' experience required behind an 18-wheeler. Must possess a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Must be capable of driving manual transmission in addition to automatic. No auto restrictions. Must have Tanker Endorsement. Must possess a valid Transportation Workers Identification card (TWIC) or be able to obtain one. Must possess a Medical Examiner's Certificate or be able to obtain one. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION: Ensure the vehicle is fit for the road by performing and recording routine checks of lights, tires, oil, water, etc., reporting any defects, to maintain the safety of driver and goods. Ensure the vehicle is loaded safely for optimum efficiency and safety. Drive in accordance with the Highway Code regulations, and take responsibility for the vehicle, including security, and the completion of paperwork to provide a safe and efficient service. Maintain a clean vehicle both inside and out to provide a clean environment for other users of the vehicle. Deliver all orders in timely manner, and in full. Record any delivery exceptions. QUALIFICATIONS: 2 to 3 years of delivery driving experience. Valid driver's license. Clean driving record. Able to pass background check and drug screen.
