+ Assemble small optical, electrical, mechanical assemblies
+ Operate standard electrical and optical laboratory test equipment such as light sources, power supplies and optical spectrum analyzers
+ Operate custom benchtop automated machinery for fastening and adhering small assemblies
+ Provide input and conduct tests plans consistent with product requirements
+ Inspect, troubleshoot and carryout engineering experiments to resolve development challenges
+ Perform calibration, burn-in and alignment checks on equipment and tools
