**General Summary**
Receives, records and distributes work orders to service crews upon customers' request for service on articles or utilities purchased from wholesale or retail establishments or utility company.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Records information, such as name, address, article to be repaired, or service to be rendered.
+ Prepares work order and distributes to service crew
+ Schedules service call and dispatches service crew.
+ Calls or writes customer to insure satisfactory performance of service.
+ Keeps record of service calls and work orders. Attaches time to jobs.
+ May dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments, using radio telephone equipment.

**Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:**

- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse and sometimes irate individuals and to handle calmly, and efficiently situations ranging from routine to emergency.

- Have the ability to deal with multiple responsibilities and to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to perform basic accounting and mathematical computations with a good degree of accuracy.
