What you'll do:
Pick up proper selecting documents prior to order selection process.
Select and separate products by account and stop number as designated by the computer-generated label.
Match the product description with the label description. Build pallets according to customer guidelines. Maintain production standards while minimizing errors.
Transport the completed orders via a stand-up electric pallet jack to the appropriate staging area.
Return completed selecting documents to proper collection site per Shipping Department specifications.
Other duties and special projects as requested.
Must maintain good attendance.
Maintain safe work practices.
Maintain safeguards of confidential company information.

JOB SUMMARY
This position serves our customers by hand-building pallets of product and loading product onto trailers according to established company and customer standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reads pick sheets and travel to proper warehouse locations using a pallet jack.
Picks proper product type and quantity, labels products and places on a pallet and loads the pallet on trucks according to proper zone, location, and established standards.
Handles products and build pallets according to established food safety procedures (e.g. visual inspection of the product for damages, proper placement on pallets to minimize cross-contamination and damage).
Ensures that the warehouse is maintained cleanly and safely according to company standards; takes appropriate corrective actions when a spill or damaged case is discovered; disposes of trash and recycling in proper receptacles.
Communicates with the management team regarding any issues (e.g. products, out of stocks, safety issues, food safety concerns).
Operates all company warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) safely, according to company standards.
Reports all equipment issues to a member of the management team.
Completes all paperwork and utilizes a wearable computer to properly track time spent on assignments for productivity reporting.
Works assigned schedule exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as needed to meet workload demands.
Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree
Experience
6 months of previous warehouse experience preferred; or equivalent work experience in place of a degree.

Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g. single and double pallet jacks).

Report damaged products, quality issues, and out-of-stock/low volume products.
Utilize proper wrapping techniques to ensure safety of product to prevent damages.

Essential Function
s:
Perform general physical activities in a warehouse, including loading, unloading, selecting, sorting and moving products and materials manually
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (including sit down and stand up)
Transport filled orders throughout the warehouse to shipping assembling areas
Perform general warehouse cleaning duties of assigned areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met
Select customer orders using WMS System with RFD equipment
Collaborate with the receiving team to properly return products back to stock
Perform audits, check outbound orders for accuracy, and quality of goods
Follow all warehouse safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company guidelines to ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Experience using RF Scanners, WMS
At least 6 months prior experience safely operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and understanding general warehouse operations
Speak and write English satisfactorily
Physical Demands:
Work in cold and wet cooler conditions for extended periods of time
Stand or walk for long periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs consistently and up to 75 lbs occasionally
Compensation:
Training Period: $17.00/hour (For your first 30 days)
Pay Per Piece: $14.00 - $23.00/hour (During your first year)
Work Schedule:
Start Time: 5:00am - finished, approximately 2:00pm
Sunday - Friday (Saturdays off and one day during the week)
Must be available to work some mandatory holiday as required

The warehouse is currently seeking part-time warehouse associates working 1 - 4 shifts per week Monday through Thursday with a start time of 6:00 pm and shifts usually ending around 11:00 p.m. No weekends. If you are a hardworking, high-energy individual, then we invite you to explore.
