Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g. single and double pallet jacks).
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including conducting inspections of powered industrial equipment using a safety checklist.
Report damaged products, quality issues, and out-of-stock/low volume products.
Utilize proper wrapping techniques to ensure safety of product to prevent damages.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Occasionally entering a space with limited headroom at a height of 46 to 49 inches from the floor to retrieve cases. The position requires constant dynamic forward bending postures to a height of 12 inches and a depth of 12 inches from the chest while holding a 2-lbs. pick tool to retrieve cases.
Constant walking to retrieve cases throughout the work shift with frequent sitting to operate the forklift.
Forklift use varies by position
Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-12 hours shift as assigned. Travel requirements vary by assignment.

The day to day

Your day begins at 5:30p and ends at “finish.” Finish can be working anywhere between an 8- 12 hour shift, in a clean and organized area
Picking, packing, and labeling products for shipment will be your contribution to maintaining a high functioning shipping operation.
The staging area is where your work is displayed and prepped for inspection.
You will partner with the load coordinator and work together in loading assigned trucks.
What you have
Attention to details. You pull what is ordered, and you keep the mistakes to a minimum.
Ability to read numbers and letters. Ability to understand locations.
Physical ability to be on your feet for several hours, the ability to push and pull carts, the ability to lift product (up to 50 lbs).
Ability to work 5:30 pm - early morning (usually around 3:00 am).
Obsessive attention to safety. You lift with your legs, you wear appropriate PPE, you are careful with the forklift, you make sure you are part of creating a safe working environment for yourself and your team.

Duties & Responsibilities
Verifies the accuracy of customer orders by inspecting built pallets to ensure they are adequately built, stabilized, and secure for transportation to the customer, and reviewing pick tickets to ensure the product type and quantity are correct
Inspects returning route delivery trucks to determine if they are in the proper condition for the check-in process and performs blind counts of all returning route delivery trucks to compare counts to the reported quantities of the returning route delivery trucks
Documents any discrepancies, changes, additions, or subtractions required to customer order (miss-picks, pallet types, additional pallets, out-of-stocks, etc) on the proper reports (load bay diagrams, pick tickets), and provides information to the appropriate personnel
Accounts for all returned product and deposit items on the route delivery trucks and ensures information is classified correctly, including but not limited to out-of-date, damaged, good items, and pallets
Communicates with the responsible warehouse teammates when a mistake is discovered so the needed correction(s) can be made to the specific pallet of a customer order
Communicates with route delivery drivers any issues discovered and makes the needed changes to the final load-in prior to finalizing the check-in process
Maintains cleanliness and safety of work area and warehouse, performs other tasks including pallet building as determined, and requested by management
