Based in San Jose, CA, PITCO also has distribution centers in Brisbane, Oakland, and Sacramento. Pulls merchandise from stock for high-volume business delivery orders. Pulls and loads items onto the truck, and boxes small cooler and freezer items into milk crates. Follows proper safety and security procedures and standards. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES: Obtains pull sheet (list of number and location of items to pull for an order) from control desk. Lifts pallet from low stack and sets on floor. Observes safety and security procedures, such as, performing daily safety checklist for electric pallet jacks prior to use, checking manual pallet jacks and pallets and tagging any with defects, using proper lifting technique. Pulls pallet through warehouse, selects items from floor stock to assemble orders. Checks each pull to ensure correct item and quantity are pulled and that all items are in good condition. Product Selector Our Product Selector role is responsible for pulling produce and building pallets for our customers. It includes rigorous work and attention to detail for order accuracy. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Load, unload, stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control You can expect to lift 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds. When lifting commercial tires you will do team lifts or use mechanical equipment. When working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires you will need to be able to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds Some of our stock racks are 25 feet tall, so you must be comfortable working at those heights safely while operating equipment.
