Summary and Nature of the Work:
Inspect, test, and perform Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and preventive maintenance inspections on plumbing, mechanical, electrical, fire & life safety features and automatic temperature control equipment utilizing results oriented strategies to ensure continuing operation. Some judgment is necessary to determine when assistance is needed.
The incumbent directly contributes to the success of the company by maintaining the facility through preventive maintenance, assigned maintenance tasks and testing of fire & life safety feature.
Must be proficient with monitoring/managing multiple BMS and CMMS systems to include Metasys, Simplex, Pneumatic Tube System, APC, TMS and all systems this position is to work with.
Work involves good communication skills in a highly demanding environment.
Essential Duties:
Essential duties are listed below. When necessary, additional duties may be assigned, and P1 Service expects the incumbent to exercise initiative to anticipate and prevent problems.
Inspect, diagnose and test mechanical equipment, electrical equipment and fire & life safety systems, using a variety of tools and instruments.
Perform specified preventive maintenance and testing of equipment.
Ability to oversee and work on the fire detection systems and fire suppression systems as needed.
Must be proficient and have good working knowledge of many different systems. Elevator re-call testing, fire and smoke doors, fire dampers, fire pumps security alarms, ect.
Must be proficient and have good working knowledge of fire detection and fire suppression systems and perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
Must have knowledge of life safety codes and TJC requirements.
Perform prescribed non-destructive tests; collect and report deficiencies as well as document all tests using both computer and hand written logs.
Good communication skills in a highly demanding environment with the owner, or the owner's representative, on the work performed and present status of various system(s).
Interpret engineering drawings in reference to layout, location and operation of the system(s).
Be responsive to customers needs.
This position reports directly to the Senior Lead Engineer and is responsible for keeping him or her informed about the project's productivity and profitability and about any personnel, leadership, financial, or legal issues.
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations
Performs all work in accordance with established code and safety procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree in HVAC, Plant Operation or Electrical is preferred.
Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience as a Maintenance Engineer. Intermediate level of knowledge on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical equipment and fire / life safety code.
Must have a CFC Universal certification for safe handling of refrigerants within 90 days of hire. NICET certified plus.

Must have basic computer skills.

Must possess a valid driver's license. Class E is required for Missouri driver's license. Must have access to drive a well maintained vehicle. What You'll Do
Receive service calls from internal and external customers
Enter call information into Service Scheduling software
Schedule service and emergency calls and dispatch assigned technicians
Ensure schedule is up to date and accurate for all service technicians. Work with other Service Coordinators to maximize productivity and profitability of technicians
Address customer issues relating to assigned technicians and accounts within your realm of authority
Assist technicians and service managers with material/equipment ordering
Audit calls for assigned technicians to insure proper billing and accurate payroll

Requirements and Qualifications
Required:

As a Production Associate you will assist Metalworks with a variety of tasks in support of production operations. The Metalworks Production Associate is responsible for all duties outlined in the UA Local 411 Metal Trades agreement. This role will tentatively begin production in late October.

SAFETY INTERNSHIP
Our Summer internship program is a full-time, 12-week summer position from May through August 2025. As an intern you'll receive an exciting opportunity to acquire relevant work experience and work alongside our best and brightest. SAFETY COORDINATOR

Commercial HVAC Service Technician
As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for Servicing, troubleshooting, and cleaning heating and cooling equipment and the related (i.e., forced air, hydronic, split systems, package units, make up air and exhaust systems, controls).
