Your Role
As a Machine Operator II, you will support the Team Lead in leading and motivating line crew to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate line crew, ensuring SOP, GMP, and material handling compliance.

Perform material processing operations on inventory according to work orders and by supervisor directive. May operate overhead crane and variety of processing equipment including but not limited to CNC, blaster, drill, oxy burner, plasma, saw, t-split, press brake.
| DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
Verifies and confirms the correct material, dimensions and cut to lengths before or after processing as specified by work order.
Sets up and operates a processing machine in accordance with procedures and guidelines.
Uses manual and/or computer-controlled equipment to operate machines.
Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in timely fashion.
Log and report inventory location and changes according to specified procedure into inventory computer system and/or by paperwork.
Log and tag inventory according to specified procedure.
Assemble customer orders according to work orders.
Record pertinent material information to work orders, material, or other forms as specified by management.
Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
Works and coordinates with multiple areas of warehouse, and coworkers to complete tasks.
Maintain compliance with all safety requirements, policies, and procedures.
Safety sensitive for his/her owns safety and/or of others safety.
Demonstrated initiative to proactively seek out work and complete tasks.
May need to work overtime and weekends as assigned (depending on business need)
Performance of other Warehouse or other tasks, including the operation of an overhead crane, as required by the absence of a department member or due to the existence of a backlog of work.
Minimum 1 year steel processing or warehouse operations or 2-3 years experience with other CNC type processing applications.
Must have good mathematical skills including adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
Must be able to use and read measuring tools such as caliper, micrometer, and tape measure

Tends machine that performs one or more packaging functions such as filling, marking, labeling, banding, taping, packing, or wrapping containers by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and responsibilities: Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine.
Stops machine and reports malfunction to supervisor.
Makes minor adjustments or repairs such as opening valves, changing forming and cutting dies, setting guides, or clearing away damaged product containers.
Inspects filled container to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications.
Feeds product to conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices, and unloads packaged product.
Replenishes packaging supplies such as wrapping paper, plastic sheet, boxes, cartons, glue, ink, or labels.
Counts supplies on spindles or places supplies in hopper or other feeding devices.
Positions and holds container in machine and depresses pedal, presses button, or moves lever to clean, glue, label, sew, or staple container.
Makes sure machine is clean and helps in putting machine together.
Connects the bulk tank to machine and verifies lot number and expiration with batch ticket.
Start of production follows steps in BT (line clearance and opens line.)
Makes sure Lot number is printing correct on material.
Changes Lot number during runs and verifies with QC and team lead.
Assist packers in labeling boxes if necessary.
Palletizes all finished good and moves pallets to designated QC lane.
Checks all finished good for leakers, miss prints or any discrepancies during production.
Keeps count of finished goods produced by operator and submits information to team lead at end of the shift.
Ability to perform Production Machine Operator II duties and responsibilities while absent or short staff.

This position will also load, move material, and operate packaging equipment. The Production Packaging Associate will also be required to follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities and Essential Duties
Assists Line Leads for repair, part replacement, adjustments, and preventive maintenance of filling and packaging equipment in accordance with GMP and safety regulations.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to, Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) (ensuring machinery is off before performing maintenance or repair), hot work, confined spaces work, use of powered industrial machines, etc.
Repairs, installs, and adjusts industrial machinery such as pulverizers, blenders, powder presses, conveyors, lasers, ink printers, labelers, and cartoners.
Performs or assists in the set-up of Production Lines scheduled to run on a daily basis according to product and customer specifications; this could include weigh set up, torque, labeling, coding, or any machinery necessary for the assembly and packaging of Finished Goods.
Performs routine preventive maintenance.
Disassembles filling equipment for cleaning and sanitization and re-assembles once clean, sanitized, and has passed QC swab test.
Records any mechanical adjustments to filling equipment in appropriate Equipment Cleaning, Maintenance, and Use Logbooks.
Cleans equipment as needed.
Focuses on safety, ensuring machinery is turned off via E-Stop before performing cleaning or maintenance, does not reach into moving equipment.

The Machine Operator is responsible for running various types of equipment. This operator will be the main crane operator for the steel plant liner. He/She will produce resistance welded cages for the reinforcement of the concrete pipes produced and/or run the re-coiler machine. The operator is to follow the schedule which is produced by his supervisor. The coils and cages are to be inspected visually and physically for deficiencies in the welding process. The operator will adjust if deficiencies are found with the welding process or notify his supervisor. The material must be handled properly. Housekeeping around the machine and department is an absolute must.
Essential Functions
Operates any three of the main operator stations independently on the SWP mill as determined by the Lead.
Performs set-up and operates sub-arc welders on the SWP Mill.
Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness.
Consistently operates successfully from the sub-arc control panel and the main operator's station.
Operates overhead crane to move plate, coil, and machinery.
Identifies and correctly uses the different fillers and fluxes for various thicknesses of metal.
Measure's pipe dimensions and material to the nearest 32nd of an inch and adjusts machine settings to achieve the desired output.
Operates a variety of machinery and possesses a basic mechanical aptitude performing minor repairs and lubrication.
Performs Hot Works (welding, cutting & grinding) as needed for equipment maintenance or production requirements.
Responsible for the organization and housekeeping of designated station as well as performing pre-operations inspections.
Required Qualifications
