General Overview: Supervises day to day packing operations related to production, scheduling and quality while directing and leading the large pack operations staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supervising, training, and coaching employees; issues corrective actions as needed
  • Communicates, trains, adheres to, and enforces safety, quality, production/distribution standards, practices, and procedures.
  • Directs and leads workflow in the packing of product to meet safety, quality, demand, and efficiency goals.
  • Develops and maintains a prioritization schedule to determine work priorities throughout the department to meet shipping goals.
  • Responsible for adhering to all customer compliance requirements (price ticketing and UCC128 label placement).
  • Develops strategies to optimize packing to maximize throughput.
  • Promotes a teamwork environment and interacts as needed with all shifts.
  • Reviews and ensures procedures and policies are communicated, trained, and followed.
  • Communicates with leads, production employees, and management staff daily.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Education Required:

  • High school diploma and a minimum of three years supervisory experience; college degree preferred.
  • Extensive understanding of product flow related to warehousing and shipping.
