ASRC Federal payloader operator job description
ASRC Federal Systems Solutions is seeking a **Satellite System Payload Operator** to support the Enhanced Polar System Control and Planning Segment (EPS/CAPS) mission operations at Schriever AFB, CO.
The Satellite System Payload Operator will assist in providing space-enabled, secure communications capabilities to polar users in support of national objectives. EPS CAPS provides telemetry and control, mission planning and cryptographic planning for the EPS payload.
The Primary duties of the System Operator are to:
+ Support daily on-console operations
+ Perform ground system and payload state of health assessments
+ Perform ground system and EPS Payload performance monitoring, Payload Operations and operational procedure execution
+ Provide 24/7 support for operations, working 12 hour rotational shifts
+ Execute daily pass plan and Mission Schedule activities
+ Assist System Engineering team with documentation support for contract deliverables
+ Support cryptologic planning functions in support of EPS/EPS CAPS mission

**Required Qualifications:**
+ High School Diploma, plus 2 years related experience in Operations Center processes
+ 2 years related experience in Tactical, Cryptographic, Satellite, C2 Operations
+ Active DOD Secret clearance required. Must be eligible to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
**Additional Preferred Skills:**
+ Real-time ground systems operations experience for GEO/HEO and LEO spacecraft or payloads, PLUS former military experience in one of the following areas is preferred:
+ US Navy Experience in Cryptologic Technician (Technical) (CTT) or Electronics Technicians (ET) fields. Including crypto and communications equipment.
+ US Marine Corps experience in MOS 2831 Digital Wideband Systems Maintainer, MOS 2821 Technical Controller
+ US Air Force Experience in AFSC 1C -- Command and Control Systems Operators or AFSC 3D -- Cyberspace Support
+ US Army experience in MOS 25S -- Satellite Communications Systems Operator-Maintainer
+ CompTia Security+ certification highly desired.
