is looking for a PC Technician on a 6 month contract to help with PC refresh work. 2020/ 2021 were challenging years and they have not had enough personnel to keep up with refresh cycles (about 500 devices behind). Candidates will be responsible for scheduling refresh appointments with internal AFI employees, imaging, deploying, transferring data, installing apps and doing all hardware set-up and troubleshooting.
It\'s critical that candidates have experience managing their own work and, ideally, scheduling refreshes/deployments directly with users. While candidates will report to the Infra manager, the expectation is that they\'ll operate more or less autonomously once they\'re through their training period with the current refresh tech. Will also work closely with more senior pc technicians
. They use SCCM for imaging and USMT for data transfer.

TelaForce, a Titan Technologies company, has an opening for 4 temporary PC Refresh Technicians. We are seeking candidates able to work normal business hours and days for a few months to achieve team targets. This project will last between 2-3 months and will run from around early-June until at least early-August.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will support the Okaloosa County School District (OCSD) Seat Management Team with refresh of several thousand devices. Candidates will assist with removal of existing equipment and the receiving, unboxing, placing and configuring of new computers and related support equipment within customer sites across Okaloosa County, FL. Candidates will be working with other team members in order to complete the tasks assigned. The ideal candidates will be able to follow work instruction with limited supervision.
Required:
+ Must be willing and able to work 6-8-hour days, 5 days a week for up to 3 months
+ Possess some amount of technical knowledge related to PCs and their use
+ Must be able to repetitively lift 50 lbs.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age with proper identification
+ Dependable transportation with valid driver's license is required for local travel between sites.
+ Ability to pass employment background check and drug-screening
+ Ability to pass Level 2 Background Check per site contract requirements
