About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8am to 6pm (Mon to Thurs) and 8am to 12pm (Fri)
Responsibilities:
Perform accurate and efficient data entry, billing, product dispensing and labeling, and release to patient functions
Collect the correct monies when releasing prescriptions at will call as well as provide accurate change to patients
Submit accurate and necessary supply and medication orders
Follow all medication guidelines as well as policies and procedures for receiving, filling, dispensing, logging, maintaining loss prevention procedures, and avoiding diversion for all inventory, including controlled medications
Review prescriptions issued by Physicians or other authorized prescribers to assure accuracy, appropriateness, and determine formulas and ingredients needed
Compound medications, using standard formulas and processes such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients
Accurately enter and maintain patient demographic information
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a Retail-type Community Pharmacy setting
High School Diploma / GED
Pharmacy Technician Training Program Certificate of Completion (must be provided to the organization within 2 weeks of hire)
Current Florida Pharmacy Technician license, active and in good standing, with no restrictions
BLS and CPR certifications
Computer-savvy and Microsoft Office proficient

Job Description
PSA - General sales department experience, strong customer service skills:
The Pharmacy Solutions Advisor (PSA inside sales) will sell and promote specialty pharmacy services to establish a strong network between Axium and various pharmaceutical manufacturer representatives and other health care providers. PSA will represent Axium Healthcare Pharmacy as a key point of contact to physicians within a designated region to ensure operational consistency for medical offices regarding patient processing. This position requires focus on outbound calling, proactive planning, tracking and coordination of sales efforts with assigned Business Development Manager (BDM) and/or Pharmacy Solutions Consultant (PSC- outside sales).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes but is not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Partner
and coordinate strategic relationships with the BDM's and PSC's to achieve
territory goals as a cohesive team.
Maintain
and track territory performance: Referrals/Admits/Non-Admits with all
pertinent demographic information to support metric reporting.
Call
on medical offices, hospitals, clinics and other referral sources in an
effort to develop and secure specialty pharmacy prescription referrals. Required: The equivalent of 45
documented calls/contact attempts to including email contact per day
(considering customer preference).
Document
all Contact Activity in Axium CRM program
Manage
assigned territory by applying a workflow to include daily/weekly/monthly
objectives through call routing schedule.
Properly
cultivate MDO accounts while fully understanding and accurately promoting
Axium's service model.
Achieve
monthly revenue and admit goals.
Promote
and represent Axium in a professional manner at all times.
Conduct
an overall “Needs Assessment” on all new referrals to Axium.
Serve
as the key point of contact between Axium and Physician offices.
Place
outbound calls and send faxes to Physician offices regarding patient
status of authorization, patient assistance, shipment status, indigent
status and transfers to other pharmacies.
Contact
physician offices for prescriptions, lab work, and/or clinical information
that will assist with authorization approval as required by plan.
Troubleshoot
and facilitate appropriate actions on patient orders with operations team
members as needed and in the appropriate manner.
Communicate
effectively among management and physician contacts in an effort to offer an
exceptional experience for all clients/customers of Axium.
Possess
excellent customer service skills, demonstrating these skills daily.
Complete
special project and or market assessment documents
Know
the competitive landscape and your market.
Previous
experience as a Benefit Investigator or Pharmacy Tech is welcomed.
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma; Customer Service experience a MUST; Prior pharmacy or medical office experience (preferred); at least 2 years sales experience (preferred); proficient computer literacy required.

Work Environment
This position is based in an onsite, closed-door, mail-order specialty pharmacy, where high-cost and complex specialty drugs are shipped to patients' homes. The pharmacy operates Monday to Friday, with shifts potentially starting as early as 6 am and extending to 10 pm. Onboarding training will last approximately two and a half days, followed by a four-week program-specific training. Training hours are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm EST. Candidates should be available for the entire duration of the training and should not have PTO authorized during this period.

Acuity is looking for a Pharmacist to support our contract in the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides medical services at the scope and level of a Pharmacist to preserve the health of employees and client personnel.
Fills prescriptions, verifying instructions from physicians on the proper amounts of medication to be given.
Checks for patient drug contraindications.
Responsible for verifying the dosage regimen for accuracy and specified amount is within the standard dosing range and frequency.

The contracted Relief Pharmacist is responsible for the smooth and successful operation of the pharmacy and the maintenance of all business-related functions at his/her respective Center while on duty, including but not limited to, medication therapy management, central fill, and/or community pharmacy operations. He/She is responsible to compound and dispense prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals for patient care by performing duties in both the adjudication and production work environments while providing direct supervision of Pharmacy Staff, Pharmacy Services Representatives, Pharmacy Technicians, and Pharmacy Support Specialists performing pharmacy related duties.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain operations of the pharmacy department

Maintain contact with providers, clinical support staff, and administrative staff to determine needs, resolve problems, improve processes, and promote effective drug therapy.
Develop and maintain a good working relationship with physicians and other health care professionals to better assist the patients
Compound medications, using standard formulas and processes such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, if applicable
Direct pharmacy workers engaged in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.
Actively participate in training and developing new team members on accurate completion of job tasks while on duty
Provide mandated counseling on all new and changed therapies on both prescription medications/items and over the counter medications/items in accordance with True Health's policy and as required by state and Federal law
Answer questions and provide information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage of pharmaceuticals as needed
Stay current with new and changing drug therapies and uses
Maintains awareness of third-party Rx systems and resolves third party rejection problems promptly, and resubmits rejected claims for payment on a timely basis
Perform trouble shooting functions for third party discrepancies and other prescription filling issues
Answer the telephone and assist at the front counter to maintain the workflow of the pharmacy.
Utilize telephone translation services for communication with patients when necessary.
Operate and troubleshoot an automated dispensing machine for the pharmacy's central fulfillment operations as assigned
Perform medication therapy management for patients as assigned, including but not limited to comprehensive medication therapy reviews and targeted intervention programs
Responsible for the proper maintenance of drug inventories while on duty
Responsible for the proper storage of all pharmaceuticals while on duty
Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly pharmacy department at all times while on duty
Actively engages patients and clients with regard to providing exemplary customer service and high-quality care
Actively engages patients and clients with respect to program integrations offered by the pharmacy
Actively engages in dealing with patients and clients in order to address issues while on duty
Maintain established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs while on duty
