Job Description PSA - General sales department experience, strong customer service skills: The Pharmacy Solutions Advisor (PSA inside sales) will sell and promote specialty pharmacy services to establish a strong network between Axium and various pharmaceutical manufacturer representatives and other health care providers. PSA will represent Axium Healthcare Pharmacy as a key point of contact to physicians within a designated region to ensure operational consistency for medical offices regarding patient processing. This position requires focus on outbound calling, proactive planning, tracking and coordination of sales efforts with assigned Business Development Manager (BDM) and/or Pharmacy Solutions Consultant (PSC- outside sales). Partner and coordinate strategic relationships with the BDM's and PSC's to achieve territory goals as a cohesive team. Promote and represent Axium in a professional manner at all times. Conduct an overall “Needs Assessment” on all new referrals to Axium. Serve as the key point of contact between Axium and Physician offices. Place outbound calls and send faxes to Physician offices regarding patient status of authorization, patient assistance, shipment status, indigent status and transfers to other pharmacies. Contact physician offices for prescriptions, lab work, and/or clinical information that will assist with authorization approval as required by plan. Troubleshoot and facilitate appropriate actions on patient orders with operations team members as needed and in the appropriate manner. Communicate effectively among management and physician contacts in an effort to offer an exceptional experience for all clients/customers of Axium.
