Pay: $90,000

Hours: FT 40 Hour/ Week.

Our Client is seeking a PHP Developer to join our team in Lanham, MD.

Responsibilities:

The PHP Developer will be an integral part of the Information Technology Team. The candidate will work directly for the Chief Information Officer. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with the ability to understand and continue the development of existing programs written in PHP, and Angular 2 in a Model, View, and Controller (MVC) Architecture. The candidate will be also expected to troubleshoot and document their work. This position is full-time temp to perm.

Requirements:

• PHP developer with 5+ years’ experience
• Familiar with upgrading PHP 5 code to PHP 7
• Experience with Javascript, Angular and MVC Architecture
• Good understanding of MySQL
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
• Clear Background Check

Preferable:

• Familiarity with Unix based operating systems e.g. Linux along with command line tools available
• Demonstrated ability to set priorities and finish tasks on time
• Degree in Computer Science or related relevant field

PHP Web Developer

The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who will work in coordination with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our next generation websites and web tools. You must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take lead on new innovations and projects.

Responsibilities

• Revise, edit, proofread & optimize web content
• Develop and maintain company and intranet websites
• Data extraction using MySQL
• Integration of data from multiple platforms using API
• Conduct code review and testing.
• Develop custom-built applications using PHP/MySQL
• Develop and maintain company APP on Android and IOS
• Work with cross-functionally to enhance overall user experience of our platforms
• Own various design tasks involved in the web development life cycle from start to finish

Job Requirement

team for the candidate who has the right blend of PHP and MySQL experience. This is an

maintaining efficient and scalable code.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Experience developing using the PHP language
• Must have reliable internet and necessary equipment to complete the job
  functions
• Strong MySQL skills in query building/optimization & schema design
• Experience with Unix Systems and the command line
  Experience with (x) HTML, CSS
• Strong analytical skills for report generation and analysis
• Clear communication skills especially when relating technical concepts to non-
  technical personnel

The ideal candidate should also be capable of building complex systems from the
ground up.
