Php web developer job description

We are seeking a Web Developer to become an integral part of our development team! You will design strategies for database systems as well as set standards for operations, programming, and security. Our custom development work spans from custom content management website builds to a custom RSVP toolkit for global brands and more. A strong skillset in both back-end development (PHP/MySQL) and front-end development (HTML, CSS, Javascript) is critical for success in this fast-paced agency environment. Our developers don't always just sit and write code. They also participate in brainstorms and R&D for projects.

PLEASE NOTE: While this is marked remote it is technically hybrid. The successful candidate will need to come to the Indianapolis a few days each month. Applicants should be within a 5-hour drive to Indianapolis.
Responsibilities:
Execute all PHP-related projects technical aspects like design, deployment, development, project documentation, and site maintenance Conduct coding for new development, bug fixes, and client modifications Design and construct large relational databases Integrate new systems with existing in-house structure Provide assistance to support any sales and account management personnel with troubleshooting client issues and requests Perform security assessment for potential risks Refine system performance and functionality Provide architecture guidance and support to design and project leads Research new technologies and develop proofs of concept Convey project requirements, risks as well as assumptions to the project team along with the client Perform with the project team to develop and design effective solutions for customers within project constraints Perform on multiple projects all together in fast-paced deadline-driven atmospheres.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in database architecture, development, or other related fields Significant Experience with relational databases, such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server (all of our solutions currently built with MySQL) SignificantExperience with HTML, CSS, Javascript (JQuery) Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Ability to prioritize and multitask Deadline and detail-oriented API integration experience Experience with user authentication is a plus
In addition to our custom-built solutions and custom content management systems, we also have smaller website projects deployed with WordPress. Previous experience in WordPress is a plus.

This is a hybrid position. Some work will require the successful candidate to be in the office.
