Unlike an internship, the Pilot Pathway Program allows students to remain at their campus to complete their flight training . **Please note that this is an unpaid position. Lodging will be provided if required to travel for company business.**
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Must possess a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age
+ Be either an active student at a certified flight school (part 61 or 141) or actively engaged in time building, including military flying, toward becoming a commercial pilot
+ Be a U.S. citizen or able to show proof of right to work in the U.S.
+ May not have more than two check ride failures
+ Most actively update flight hours, 1x per month, through your skywestonline portal to stay enrolled in the program
If not enrolled at one of SkyWest's elite partners you must also meet the following:
+ Hold a Private Pilot License, an Instrument Rating, and a Commercial Rating
+ Have a minimum of 250 flight hours

Responsible to ensure aircraft and weather conditions are airworthy to transport medical crew and patient to receiving hospital within an assigned operational area. Responsible for compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), General Operations Manual guidelines (GOM), and thorough knowledge of Air Methods policies and procedures.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
Operates Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
Completes pre-flight before every flight verifying the aircraft is in an airworthy condition by sign off of Daily Flight Log. Pilots will perform a complete walk around of the aircraft prior to entering the cockpit for flight and upon completion of each flight.
Final authority with regard to operations of aircraft and for the safety of passengers, cargo and equipment.
Must be thoroughly familiar with all aircraft and medical systems of backup aircraft utilized at operational area and also ensures that the medical flight team is familiar and comfortable with the medical interior and systems.
Responsible for completion of required documentation.
Able to conduct detailed flight planning with little notice to exacting standards.
Participates regularly in Air Methods meetings, activities, projects, committees and community outreach.
Performs other duties as assigned.

The Float Rotor Wing Pilot is responsible for professionally and safely operating aircraft for LFN to facilitate care of critically ill and/or injured patients. Rotor Wing Pilots possess strong aviation skills, a keen sense of safety, superior customer service skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people, one-on-one and in large groups, sometimes in highly stressful situations. The Float Rotor Wing Pilot will be required to work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Our float positions are full-time. The purpose of our float pilot is to cover open shifts on the schedule due to line pilot vacations, leave, etc. Seven shifts are guaranteed in the pay period, but may not be consecutive or all at the same base.
This position covers shifts at the bases located in Burley, Hailey, and Boise, Idaho; Ontario, LaGrande, and Pendleton, Oregon.

The fixed wing pilot is responsible for safely operating Pilatus aircraft to facilitate the transport of critically ill and/or injured patients. Fixed wing pilots possess strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people, one-on-one and in large groups, sometimes in highly stressful situations. The fixed wing pilot will be required to work varied shifts and may be required to be available for on call shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree in Aviation or related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a professional pilot
Must hold a FAA Airline Transport Pilot certificate
2500 hours PIC time Airplane
1500 Turbine hours
500 hours in a turbo prop aircraft
250 hours instrument time
250 hours of unaided night time experience
25 hours operating a PC-12 and successful completion of ground and flight school within last 12 months preferred
Recent air medical transportation experience preferred

Under the SkillBridge program, GMR hosts active-duty U.S. Military members for skilled employment training during the final six months of their active-duty obligated service. The SkillBridge Program with GMR will run for 90-days. During the SkillBridge program, a military service member will retain thier military pay and benefits and will not be compensated by GMR.
SkillBridge program start dates are timed in accordance with company indoc schedules and Service Member availability.
SkillBridge Program Minimum Required Qualifications (general):

Job Summary
Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) at GMR/Guardian Flight are responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fixed Wing fleet across multiple locations within the Company footprint. Technicians will support our KingAir B200, C90, Pilatus PC-12. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities:
* Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
* Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
* Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
* Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
* Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
* Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
* FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate or able to obtain within the next year
* 2 years fixed-wing maintenance experience required
* Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
* Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
* Related experience under CFR Parts 91, 135 and 145 preferred
* Air Ambulance knowledge preferred
* Avionics troubleshooting and electrical repair experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to safely perform work on scaffolding or ladders.
* Must be able to stand, lie, and kneel in awkward positions and spaces for varying time durations.
* Must be able to lift, push, and pull objects weighing ranging from 10-50 pounds at a time.
* Must be able to lift and/or move up to 150 pounds cumulative with assistance.
* Manual dexterity and physical strength necessary to operate tools, make adjustments and repairs, including use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
* Exposed to loud noise levels, vibrations, test sounds and identify functioning level of aircraft and may require the use of headphones if needed.
