**JOB SUMMARY:**
To layout, install, repair and maintain plant piping systems\.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
I\. Installs plant compressed air, water, steam, natural gas piping as well as piping for less common chemicals and gases in accordance with the Uniform Plumbing Code\.
II\. Maintains and repairs piping, pumps, pressure control devices, fuel service area equipment, chemical filtration, back flow prevention and reverse osmosis equipment\.
1\.Safely makes repairs to failed piping systems and equipment\.
III\. Uses lift equipment or ladders to access overhead equipment\.
IV\. May be required to use cutting torch and to sweat solder in performance of job duties\.
V\. Responsible for quality of own work\.
VI\. Performs other duties as required\.
**Qualifications**
**EDUCATION:**
High School education or equivalent, plus one year of trades school training including Plumbing Code courses\. Must obtain and maintain any necessary training and licensing, including but not limited to, Forklift Operation Certificate, and Aircraft Operating Area License\.
**EXPERIENCE:**
Requires one to three years of industrial pipefitting and plumbing\.
**WORKING CONDITIONS:**
