Overview
Pembina's Transmission Pipelines Business Unit is currently seeking a number of Mechanical and E/I Tradesman as well as Pipeline Operators to support their Alberta Ethane Gathering System (AEGS).
Summary of Responsibilities
* Perform various assignments related to health, safety and the environment in compliance with company standards and adhere to Pembina's Safety Culture of "Zero by Choice";
* Complete assignments safely, efficiently and in an environmentally conscious manner by observing accepted company and industry safety practices;
* Perform and assist with pipeline maintenance activities and participate in ERP exercises;
* Maintaining valves, filters, meters, and pump station equipment for pump stations along the pipeline system;
* Supporting construction and maintenance through decommissioning and recommissioning pipelines;
* Lock out of equipment and working in collaboration with Electrical and Operations groups;
* Assist with installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of new equipment;
* Coordinating and providing operations for cleaning and inline inspection runs of the lines within the designated areas;
* Interfacing with customers and suppliers in coordination of pipeline operations;

Qualifications
* A High School Diploma or equivalent; preference will be given to those with a Power Engineering ticker or other Oil and Gas related tickets;
* Journeyman Tradesman Tickets in Electrical, Instrumentation, Millwright or Mechanics are considered an asset;
* 5+ years related experience (pipeline, gas plant, refinery or production);
* Demonstrated aptitude in all aspects of ground disturbance practices;
* SAP Plant Maintenance software knowledge and use;
* Working knowledge of MS Office and other business related computer programs and applications;
* Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills;
* A valid Class 5 Driver's License; and
* Safety Courses: TDG, H2S Alive, First Aid, ICS 100/200 would be an asset, but if incomplete, will be provided by company to the successful candidate.
