Responsibilities and Duties
We currently have an opening for a SharePoint Power User who will be responsible for the organizations share platform and portal pages. Responsibilities will include maintaining the related pages/areas of the platform, developing content for web pages, and ensuring ease of use. The platform is used for activities throughout the organization such as data collection, management, data retrieval, collaboration, and secure file sharing. This position requires excellent writing and verbal communication skills, a high-level of expertise in the use of MS Office 365, MS SharePoint, SharePoint Designer, MS InforPath, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat and Creative Suite. The position also requires experience with front-end web development, hypertext markup language (HTML), cascading style sheets (CSS), and JavaScript.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Create, administer, and provide ongoing maintenance and support to the segment(s) of ATFs SharePoint-based business intelligence platform used to retain key acquisition data and its users.
- Identify and advise the Chief of Acquisitions Branch and/or Acquisitions Policy & Compliance Branch of current trends, generate user-friendly reports to inform Program Office leadership of key metrics and progress towards goals, and provide necessary data (as well as trend analysis) to leadership as required.
- Formulate and apply modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information to assist management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions. by querying repositories of program and business intelligence data, convey findings through periodic standardized written reports that allow decision-makers to gauge progress towards stated objectives and lend critical insight to support knowledge-based, data-driven decision-making by key leaders.
- Work independently in personnels substantive area of expertise on analytical products and projects and maintain a close and highly-responsive relationship to the day-to-day activities of the assigned program office(s).
- Provide technical support to the acquisition and procurement staff, as well as their customers/program offices.
- Perform functions in both a mainframe and a client-server environment, maintain and assist with ongoing technical applications and operations, to ensure the efficient and optimal operation of the Data Center.
- Schedule software support, workload balancing of scheduled and non-scheduled work within the mainframe and server environment; support code promotion and report products on mainframe and server environments.
