Essential Job Functions:

• · Work from work orders, Schedules, First Articles, Database files, Ticket Tab Visuals, written and verbal instructions. (up to and including online service calls-with tech support)
• · Change Databases, Blankets, impression paper, PIP, stock and perform first transfer and color calibration, daily.
• · Check color, load press with specific type, size and color of paper stock, clean Bids, Ink reservoirs, wipe and clean press parts and cylinders.
• · Check for registration, make choice of best print modes to run in according to colors/speed needs.
• · Troubleshoot problems and take corrective action, make repairs or replace parts, notify supervision of difficulties.
• · Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment and materials.
• · Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations and unusual conditions to supervision, follow up with re-pairing equipment and using phone support as needed
• · Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
• · Control waste spoilage and printing errors.
• · Coordinate information to other shift operations.
• · Complete work in a timely fashion within time estimates.
• · Advise press room management of potential issues.
• · Adhere to company and departmental policies and rules.
• · Develop and share knowledge of press operations with other crew and departmental personnel.
• · Perform other duties as assigned

Education Requirements:

• · High school diploma / GED equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• · Lift 20-40lbs occasionally

The Molding Machine Operator & Printer/Labeler are responsible for the day-to-day production of products; including, but not limited to, sorting, stacking, quality control, machine adjustments, minor maintenance, and production reporting

*Position Overview *
The Print Operator is responsible for the operation and oversight of several types of digital printing machines, transfer presses, quality of color and print consistent with approved graphic files.

*Essential Job Functions*
* Run up to two printers with different size and color capacities.
* Ability to check and load ink into printer
* Make quick corrections to avoid expensive losses of paper and ink.
* Check and scale file images sizes
* Transfer files, blend colors, and proof images electronically using digital presses
* Read/verify work order and proofs received from internal department
* Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects.
* Load, position, and adjust unprinted materials on holding fixtures or in equipment loading and feeding mechanisms.
* Remove printed materials from presses, using hand trucks, electric lifts, or hoists, and transport them to drying, storage or finishing areas.
* Set and adjust speed, temperature, ink flow, positions and pressure tolerances of equipment.

*Qualifications*
* Experience with HP Latex 3100, Vutek LX3 Pro, and Monti Antonio Transfer machines are a plus
* Ability to multi-task various projects with high level of detail
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, able to communicate effectively
* Positive attitude and good work ethics
* High School Diploma or GED
* Must be able to stand, walk or bend throughout entire shift.
* Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds.
* Two years relevant experience in print operations focused on the use of digital printing machines, both large and small format (Preferred but not necessary)

Print-on-demand: our partners sell DTC across a variety of personalized apparel, home décor and packaging websites. We perform the entire operations value chain from order ingestion to consumer fulfillment for print-cut-sew and other products. We specialize in mass personalization of manufacture-to-fulfillment products - with zero inventory - and also provide product development & fashion design capabilities in-house.

Exhibit and retail: we design and manufacture visual communication experiences for tradeshows, brick-and-mortar stores and a variety of other venues requiring visual signage, graphics and display structures. We employ digital manufacturing methods across aluminum extrusion profiles; tubing; dye sublimation; and 3D printed parts. Products are typically custom designs, along with a family of parametric structures.

Direct to consumer: we operate our own DTC eCommerce brands and online storefronts. our production model is low- to no-inventory and is manufacture-to-fulfillment. Products span a variety of consumer and home décor categories. Additional stealth home décor brand scheduled to launch in FY22.
