Japs-Olson Company is seeking an innovative team player to fill a position within our Data Processing department on our 1st shift (6am-2pm ). Primary responsibilities include performing data operations such as conversion, address hygiene, and postal presort, as well as variable document composition and file creation for commercial print projects.
Ideal candidates have strong verbal and written communication skills, with at least 2 years of experience in the mail industry. Knowledge of computer programs used for data processing and direct mail setup including TSS, GMC, Adobe, Microsoft, and postal software is expected. We pursue quick learners with the ability to output accurate deliverables in a fast paced production environment.

Responsibilities:
- Produce assigned data and layout work in conformance with customer requirements and Japs-Olson quality & productivity standards using a variety of software tools.
- Troubleshoot DP-related issues in Production Departments.
- Interface directly with Sales/CSR's.
- Internalize posted department values and model them in daily work.

The E-tech position will be responsible for the development, management, and enhancement of PLC's. This also includes working with contractors on large projects, providing training to other Technicians or supervisors, and being on call during weekends and nights. Assist with the design, program, and management of HMI's as well as any other duties as needed.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
· Program, troubleshoot and repair the following PLCs: Allen Bradley Micrologix, CompactLogix, ControlLogix, Schneider Electric Premium and Twido lines, Modicon Modular PACs (i.e. BMX P34), Siemens Standard (S7-300) line, Omron NJ501 Line.
· Program, troubleshoot and repair the following Motor Control: Allen Bradley PowerFlex 5,500 and 700 lines of VFDs, Schneider/Telemecanique Altivar VFDs, SEW Eurodrive, Danfoss, and ELAU Pacdrive.
· Program, troubleshoot and repair the following Robotics: Kuka arms for palletizing, cutting, stirring, etc. and Fanuc pick and place arms.
· Program, troubleshoot and repair HMI PC's, write modify PLC program logic as required, and troubleshoot or repair peripheral devices, temperature, pH, flow, conductivity controllers, VFD's as needed.

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
Education & Experience
· Minimum three years modifying, specifying, designing and implementing automated control systems.
· Minimum two years programming, debugging and troubleshooting automated control system and their related components.
· Background in Allen Bradley PLC programming: RSLogix500, RSlogix5000, RSNetWorx
· Background in Allen Bradley HMI programming: Factory TalkME, Factory TalkSE, RSView32, PanelBuilder32
· Familiarity with DeviceNet, ControllNet and Ethernet (networking).
· Familiarity with Process Control, Sensors, Transducers and VFD's.
· Comfortable working in the plant on devices and in electrical panels.
· Must be available for after hour and weekend coverage. (On-Call)
· Actively participate in any new equipment related to automation and integration
· Ongoing training as needed to stay current with new technology
