What is a product service associate and how to become one

Would you like to be part of the team that helps a store showcase its best products? That's what you'll get to do as a product service associate. These associates help a store's displays and signage up-to-date. To do this, they build product displays, rotate stock, and move product support materials. Product service associates are also expected to provide excellent customer service. They frequently help shoppers by locating, selecting, demonstrating, and loading store merchandise.

Product service associates must have the physical ability to move large, bulky, and/or heavy merchandise. They may also be required to stand or sit for prolonged periods to perform job duties. If you're a hard worker, who likes working with hands, this could be the job for you. For some positions, knowledge of how to operate forklifts, power equipment, and other tools, such as drills and grinders, may also be required. If you think you'd like to work as a product service associate, you'll typically only need a high school diploma or equivalent.
