Clean, set-up, operate, and monitor equipment of the production line
Complete all required documentation and scheduled quality checks
Monitor weights, seals, caps, and general packaging of product
Make adjustments to filler timing and filling; check mat as needed
Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties
Collect required samples needed for quality assurance testing
Ensure that the proper packaging materials are used for each product being produced
Watch for jams on the label operator and effectively thread wrap to prevent downtime due to error
Perform filler and filler line changeovers in a safe and efficient manner
Complete cleaning checklist once line has completed run
Prepare equipment for next run to include size changes as needed
Maintain communication with other departments, supervisor, and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production
Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's
Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Qualifications

We provide a full service to manufacturers in which we provide them with reusable oil absorbent material that soaks up leaks and spills in their facilities. The role that takes place in our plant is a hands-on labor-intensive job where you will learn how to operate multiple machines, work with Customer Owned Goods (COG), industrial size water wash/waste water machines. moving/lifting heavy drums, and work on your feet. You'll be working with a small team but have room for advancement in your career here. This is a dirty job (dealing with oil), so be prepared. Your role will consist of the following responsibilities

Washing & sorting drums

Machine Operators are instrumental in the production of Sinse Pre-Rolls and are in charge of the daily operation and maintenance of our RollsPros Blackbird Machines. We are looking to dedicated individuals who want to transition their previous production experience into a exciting career in one of the nation's leading cannabis markets. We are looking for qualified individuals to work our PM Machine Operator Shift, Monday through Friday, 3P to 11:30P. This position does feature a $2.00 per hour night shift differential.
Duties and Responsibilities
Machine Operation & Maintenance
Set up, operate, and monitor the RollPros Blackbird machine according to production specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance.
Adjust machine settings to maintain product consistency and quality.
Maintain production goals in machine operations, packaging, & labeling.
Packaging & Labeling Compliance
Ensure all packaging and labeling materials meet FDA and CGMP standards (21 CFR Part 211 Subpart G).
Conduct 100% visual or electronic inspection of labeling accuracy during or after packaging.
Maintain separation and identification of labeling materials by product type, strength, and dosage.
Document and report discrepancies in labeling or packaging operations.
Quality Assurance
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
Record production data, including approved and rejected units, and maintain accurate logs.
Collaborate with QA and compliance teams to support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Education
At least 21 years of age.
Proven experience operating mechanical or automated production equipment
Blackbird or similar preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical manuals and diagrams.
Familiarity with FDA labeling and packaging regulations (FPLA, CGMP).
Attention to detail and commitment to product quality and safety.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Availability to work weekends & occasional holidays.
All employees must adhere to local and state laws and regulations related to cannabis production and keep up to date on changes to those laws and regulations.
Ability to obtain and maintain a State Agent ID.
Essential Job Functions
Ability to sit/stand for long periods (4+ hours) of time.
Ability to perform repetitive task for long periods of time (i.e., trimming plants, potting, and regular inventory
Physical requirements include standing, bending and lifting up to 30+ pounds, climbing and working above shoulder height for extended periods, reaching across 4ft wide trays while standing, sliding under trays on creepers to perform maintenance, and pushing carts and wheelbarrows.
Availability to work occasional weekends and holidays
Ability to work in a production environment with heavy machinery and environmental considerations such as loud repetitive noises and temperature fluctuations.
Compensation and Benefits
