**About the facility:** The Williamson, NY operation is a roughly 1 million sq ft production facility with 217 acres of land. The site is the Home of the Brand Motts that has been delighting our consumers for more than 140 yrs. We produce a wide variety of products with diverse packaging capabilities going from Apple sauce, to juices and concentrates . Alongside production, the site includes a raw apple operation that is key for the success of the site. This facility is a Unionized location. **Production Technician II - Williamson, NY**
The Production Technician is responsible for the complete operation and changeover of assigned machines within PhD and all other associated work. This includes safely maintaining, repairing, replacing and assisting in modifying all processing, packaging, and facility equipment in accordance with on-line quality and Best Practice procedures.
**Shift / Schedule:** This is a union facility so flexibility to work any day or any night shift pattern is required.Positions are mainly 12/hr positions, with few 8\hr shifts available but not guaranteed; based on seniority.

+ 2:00pm - 10:30pm
+ 10:00pm - 6:30am.
**Position Responsibilities**
1. Operate machine in accordance with on-line quality and Best Practice procedures

First shift. The primary purpose of this job is to perform technical functions related to the production of batteries and capacitors. This position is responsible for the setup, inspection, data analysis and troubleshooting related to various technical production functions around testing, destruction analysis and machine operations. This position will follow standardized or prescribed assignments involving a sequence of related operations under limited supervision
Key Accountabilities:
1. Adheres to Integer values and all safety and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, Company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
2. Sets up and runs experiments and/or test apparatus following clear instructions. Operates some or all of the following: electrical test stations and software, cathode printing equipment and software, microscopes, micrometer, retical, metallograph, scales, data recording software, OCV meters, cameras, XRF, laser marker, plasma cleaner, spot welder or other measuring devices.
3. Performs failure analysis, initial troubleshooting and repairs including but not limited to checking system accuracy, carriers and racks are properly functioning, and calibrations Handles rack check operations.
4. Performs routine product analysis using standard procedures making accept/reject decisions based on product documents.
5. Compiles and summarizes results of tests for evaluation by engineering support teams.
6. Manages visual inspection processes on routine parts to confirm product quality. This includes decision on pass/fail of product quality.
7. Complies and completes documentation including but not limited to: reports, RMAs, DIRs, SDRs, LDRs, cell codes, work orders, SOKs to required specifications and procedures based on product type.
8. Handles 5S cleaning of all equipment outlined in #2 to ensure long term equipment and product quality.

Minimum Education:
High school graduate. Associate's Degree preferred but not required.

MACHINE OPERATOR: If you are looking for an opportunity to expand your work experience, we can help with that. Training is available for the right candidate to learn the skills to operate CNC production equipment, how to perform set ups, and inspect parts.
Training on 1st shift position will be 2nd shift after training period.
A solid work history and/or prior machining experience. Metric measuring is a plus as well.
While performing the duties of this job, the Staff Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk or hear, use hands to pick-up, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The Staff Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
The Staff Member may be required to work beyond normal business hours when necessary.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
PAY:
$17.00 per hour - once on 2nd shift there is a $1.50 per hour shift differential
