Job Description Job Posting: Production Mechanic Level 3 Schedule: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM About the Role: The Production Mechanic (Level 3) is responsible for maintenance of all production equipment, including but not limited to: performing changeovers, overhauls, corrective repair work, and fabricating parts. The ideal candidate should have at least 3-4 years of experience in a production maintenance mechanic role within a manufacturing environment. Key Job Responsibilities Reviews established production schedule at start of each shift for assigned area to determine production run, need for change-over and scheduled maintenance. Readjusts line and changes over assigned equipment for product, material, size and pack pattern. Runs first piece of production and checks for conformance to quality standards. Performs preventive maintenance checks during course of shift and takes appropriate corrective action. Cleans and sanitizes equipment and all necessary parts, as required or specified. Monitors equipment for unsafe conditions and either recommends or implements corrective actions for equipment malfunctions. Records production delays and maintains required down time records.
