The Role As a Production Tech, you'll be an essential part of the process of turning raw cannabis flower into our beautiful line of medicated products. Under the guidance of the management team, you will produce, package, and handle products, perform inventory duties, adhere to compliance requirements, and keep safety as your top priority while working daily in our facility. For Prepress, the associate will create production-ready layouts for digital printers and other production-based machines utilizing Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Esko Automation, and various RIP Software. Understanding of production processes, digital printers, cutting machines, and other machines is expected. For Proofing, the associate's role will be to create proofs and final art/graphics that will be used to produce custom signs and identification products based on customer input and AccuformNMC design guidelines. Prepress: Quickly and efficiently create technically proficient production files for large-format production-based machines. Understanding how to manipulate and layout digital files based on fractions and precise measurements is required. Properly utilize Esko Automation Engine and other standard processes to produce efficient layouts quickly. Ensure the printer operators have all necessary information prior to printing. Create digital cut files for digital cutting machines. Revise existing print and cut files as required. Support printer and cutter operators as required to resolve ripped file issues. Possess a strong sense of organization. Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple workflows and processes is a requirement. Proofing: Prepare sign proofs from existing templates for customer approval. Design signage, recreate logos and vector artwork according to customer specifications utilizing Adobe applications and other design software. When required, interact directly with customers via email, remote, or phone. Work on internal projects as required, for example, SOPs, product redesigns, etc. Work directly with Inside Sales to define product requirements and approve designs. Understand manufacturing process to estimate cost and feasibility. Stay current with internet and software technologies used for creative work. Learn and apply “Lean” tools and initiatives. Assist in the development of best work practices to promote efficiency and accuracy. Assist with special projects as requested. Assist with maintaining artwork files and updated templates. Support Production, Secondary Operations, and Shipping as required. Cross train to assist in other areas of Production. Your Skills and Expertise: To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum: Associates degree in Graphic Art and/or 1-2 years' relevant experience preferred. Job Location: Spartronics- 30167 Power Line Road; Brooksville, FL 34602 As a Machine Operator you will operate, set-up, program and maintain assembly machines and equipment used to produce various production assemblies. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior staff. Will identify and resolve equipment/process related defects. Examples of this equipment are (but not limited to) the following: SMT, Wave & Selective Solder machines, Auto Insertion, component prep, wire cutting machines and other automated or semi-automated equipment. What a Day Looks Like: Ensure that all assignments are performed in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, Provincial and Company safety and health regulations, and where applicable, proper personal protective equipment is utilized. Employees assigned to job tasks which require them to handle hazardous waste (Wave/ERSA Maintenance/Cleaning, Cathode Room Operator, Chemical Handler, Spray Room, and Facilities Supervisor), will be required to complete Hazardous Waste Management Training, Respirator Safety Training, Respirator Fit Test, and Lead and/or Respirator Surveillance annually. Set up oven with appropriate programs as indicated by documentation. Perform part verification using bar code scanner and computer program. Review findings on solder inspection station before passing or failing printed circuit boards. Inspect deposited solder paste and populated PWB's to applicable workmanship standards. Maintain all tooling (Stencils, pallets etc) updating records and replacing old or worn-out tooling. Performs or assists with full machine set-ups including transferring programs to specific machines. Responsible for reading, interpreting and performing set up and/or prep instructions. Initiate and maintain accurate paperwork and records as required by job. Meet hourly production goals and facilitate speedy resolution of machine problems as they arise. Responsible for daily clean up of all assigned work areas. Monitor machine line balance to achieve run rates and report to line supervision. Responsible for monitoring, minimizing and reporting machine scrap. Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance. Troubleshoot functional problems with equipment and make adjustments as required. Completes other duties as requested. Requirements We are an ITAR Controlled facility, all applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. Minimum of one year of SMT or relevant experience is strongly preferred Education- Must be a High school graduate or have your GED Computer literate. Must be quality conscious and possess ability to meet production and quality standards. Ability to add and subtract whole numbers, fractions and decimals using direct reading, gauges, rulers and scales. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and written work instructions. Must be willing to schedule, attend, and pass continuing training courses. May be required to pass solder training class to operate certain pieces of equipment... May be required to do heavy lifting (not to exceed 30 lbs.) on some operations. Must maintain ESD Precautions Standards certification.
