Port-Production Operator Trainee Huntsman is seeking a Port-Production Operator Trainee supporting the Polyurethanes Division located at our Houston Port TEROL site in Houston, Texas. This position will report to the Production Manager, Brian Shepard. Job Scope The Port-Production Operator Trainee will train under a qualified operator to learn and perform all operational tasks required for progression to Operator C within the Houston Port TEROL operation. This role supports safe, efficient, and compliant production activities through adherence to all Operational and EH&S policies, procedures, and practices. In summary, as the Port-Production Operator Trainee, you will: Perform essential Operator C duties in outside operations, including operating, starting up, and shutting down process equipment to produce quality, on-spec products. Maintain a current understanding of unit equipment, operating principles, and process impacts. Conduct routine unit rounds, adjust equipment as needed, and collect product samples for laboratory analysis. Review lab results and adjust operating conditions based on findings. Complete reports, operating logs, work orders, and safe work permits following prescribed procedures. Uphold good housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly work environment. Monitor the safe handling, identification, storage, and removal of waste streams. Complete all assigned training and participate in site safety and environmental programs. Maintain regular workplace presence and work extra hours or overtime when required to support production needs. Collaborate effectively with team members and support broader Huntsman goals and initiatives. Your Role at KIK Join our team as an experienced Machine Operator managing production equipment including fillers, case packers, cappers, case sealers, palletizers and labelers. The scope of this role is to ensure the efficient and accurate filing of products into containers, adhering to specific volume and weight requirements, and maintain the highest standards of quality and filler operator works with the packaging end of a production line. The filler operator also operates filling machines and makes the necessary adjustments to ensure consistency. This is a 3 rd shift position, 10pm-6:30am Monday-Friday and overtime on Saturdays as required. The pay is $17.5/hr. Machine Shop Operator Houston, Texas Full-Time Role Summary/Purpose Plan and perform the set up and operation of an assigned CNC numerical controlled lathe to machine component parts in process of ferrous, non-ferrous and alloy metals. Work involves the assignment to either the NC/CNC Lathes, proving out computer programs in collaboration with Programmer, and following prescribed program, tooling, set up and offset specifications. Essential Responsibilities Must be able to work from detail part drawings, work orders, set ups, tooling, process and operation instruction sheets, and digital program. Set up and operate 2-axis lathes and operate 4-axis lathes on a wide range of products, receiving assistance from programmer or supervisor if needed. Review parts program file and select set tools in tool holder, turret, or cross slide location. Operate control console to enter program data, back off tool offsets, and check out with dry run. Edit the program as required. Unload bar stock from delivery truck with overhead crane and place in intermediate storage area. Load part, sequence each tool, enter offset adjustment data, and continue trails (as required) to produce piece meeting drawing specifications. Inspect parts periodically in accordance with established frequency, for conformance to quality and engineering specifications, making offsets (as required) to compensate for tool wear. Indicate work to detect and eliminate run out. Tolerances are very strict and involve a demand for squareness, concentricity, and parallelism. Detect and report faulty operations, defective material, and equipment, drawing discrepancies, and other unusual conditions to the proper supervisor. Maintain workplace in neat and orderly condition.
