ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operate industrial sewing machines (straight stitch, overlock, blind hem, bar tack, etc.) to perform alterations and repairs on military uniforms, including trousers, jackets, shirts, and dress blues. Perform hemming, tapering, seaming, patching, and zipper replacement according to USMC standards. Attach or reapply insignias, name tapes, rank patches, and other uniform components accurately and to regulation.
