Job Duties: Assist Engineers in the design, development, and testing of Watson Marlow products. Perform assembly, calibration, and maintenance of equipment. Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical issues. Collect and analyze data from tests and prepare detailed reports. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and results. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals. Requirements: Associate degree in Engineering Technology (Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent US Military experience/training. Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, electrical, or electronic systems. Proficiency with tools, instruments, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Experience analyzing production assembly and test equipment and processes and documenting modifications. The Production Mechanic III will report to the VP of Engineering's Management team. The Production Mechanic III is responsible for ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment at all Charm Sciences facilities as needed. The pay range for this position is $31.50 to $47.00 per hour. Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, and other factors in accordance with applicable laws. Essential Functions: Perform and manage preventative maintenance program to ensure all packaging equipment remains in “as new” condition, includes motors, pneumatic systems, and conveyor systems. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. Troubleshoots and repairs manufacturing and packaging line equipment and parts by using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts. Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
