What you'll do:
Job Summary
Production Support Operator will complete various tasks to support the production of transformer coils.
Job Responsibilities
* Perform tasks across various work stations, including ovens, kitting, paper cutter/slitting, set up, hot press/ sqeeze & bake, thermal fold, assembly weld booth, and material handling.
* Verify the size, part number, condition, and quantity of issued materials.
* Match coils and cores, gather small parts from kitting, and retrieve leads from the welding booth.
* Prepare, collect, and distribute materials needed for coil winding to operators.
* Assemble kits for coil orders and stock bins with coil materials.
* Based on process release orders, weld low voltage leads, and cut copper leads and ground straps.
* Compress coils using hydraulic jacks or presses, and load/unload coils onto conveyors, pallets, or racks for baking in industrial ovens.
* Inspect units for errors, load them onto racks, and scan and load them into bake ovens.
* Return unused materials to their designated locations, ensuring proper marking for inventory accuracy, and move finished coils to the oven area.
* Perform tasks to optimize product flow and maximize coil winder productivity.
* Operate machines for sizing, cutting, and drilling materials used in the winding process.
* Operate a forklift and pallet jackto transport materials and finished products as needed.
* Oversee and enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols to guarantee the safe deactivation and isolation of equipment, ensuring energy control procedures are correctly applied to prevent inadvertent machine startup or hazardous energy discharge during repair or maintenance, in line with OSHA regulations and organizational safety guidelines.
* Safely operates overhead cranes and hoisting equipment to move materials, components, and finished products within the manufacturing facility.
* Actively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization.
* Achieves and maintains target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals.
* Adhere to safety protocols, ensures efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures.
* Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.

The Packaging Associate is responsible for the final review of finished product and packaging materials and for packaging product for delivery to our end user, the customer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Visually inspect finished products and packaging materials to ensure they meet quality expectations
Communicate concerns to Quality Auditor, Operator, Lead Operator and/or Supervisor
Discard product that does not meet expectations in accordance with site procedures
Be cognizant of surroundings and report any environmental, equipment or material issues that may arise.
Package all product types for all lines in the facility
Package final products in accordance with the specification requirements including
Count and/or stack height
Bagging of products
Sealing of bags
Boxing of product sleeves
Apply required labeling and ensure date coding and other necessary information is as expected
Build/stack boxes in accordance with pallet/stack layout
Manually palletize as required
Perform rework for rejected product or damaged boxes
Able to properly utilize packaging equipment, including
Resetting the ink jet printers.
Operating the auto bagger and making minor adjustments as needed to ensure the product is protected.
Using taping and/or box sealing equipment to properly seal the box
Load and stage KDs (boxes), as directed
Change or replace tape in box taper

Safely utilize the grinders to ensure scrap is recycled in a manner that ensures reintegration into the manufacturing process

- Position, hang, and remove transformer tanks and associated parts from a powered overhead conveyor line.
- Manually handle medium-heavy weight materials, and operate hoists and other material handling equipment (including powered industrial trucks).
- Monitor and maintain the automatic paint booth, manually apply paint to hard-to-reach parts, add paint as needed, conduct titration tests for chemical balance, and verify the paint cure and dry-off oven temperatures.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance, follow specified lists (oven pick list, PQP, VOP, IDP, verbal instructions), operate welding equipment (MIG wire feed), and use both manual and powered hand tools, as well as simple measuring devices.
- Safely operates overhead cranes and hoisting equipment to move materials, components, and finished products within the manufacturing facility.
- Actively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Achieves and maintains target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals.
- Adhere to safety protocols, ensures efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures.
- Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.

Work Environment:
All RoyOMartin facilities are smoke-free. Manufacturing plants are not climate-controlled and are representative of working conditions commonly associated with other industrial workplaces.
