DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Positions and turns material to completely blast all required surfaces. Adjusts mixture of air and abrasive to suit requirements. Services sand or grit tanks, replaces worn nozzles. Moves material in and out of blast booth using hand truck, tow-motor and/or overhead crane. Monitors humidity and temperature and compare to customer specification requirements. DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION High school diploma or GED required. The ideal candidate will also provide assistance to the estimating, sales and field crews as it relates to bidding, pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities. Project management, estimating, tracking budget expenses, leadership, planning and verbal communication are all key skills needed for this position.
