    Job Description KEY RESULT AREAS: Parts are sand blasted according to specifications and standard shop practices. Parts are constantly handled and protected properly and safely. Equipment, including blast booth and collector, is well maintained and problems are proactively reported Duties are constantly performed in a safe manner to ensure compliance with safety specifications. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Positions and turns material to completely blast all required surfaces. Adjusts mixture of air and abrasive to suit requirements. Services sand or grit tanks, replaces worn nozzles. Moves material in and out of blast booth using hand truck, tow-motor and/or overhead crane. Monitors humidity and temperature and compare to customer specification requirements. DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION High school diploma or GED required. DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE Experience working in a blast booth is preferred. Ability to read blueprints preferred. Ability to safely operate a forklift.
