Proposal coordinators are responsible for managing and design business proposals. They assist in the design, storage, and finalize the completed business proposals. They also establish a company's guidelines, vision, and financial outline for completed proposals. Proposal coordinators work to edit and design the finalized proposal document, earning an average salary of $65,000 annually or $31 per hour.

Proposal coordinators develop and execute consistent company identity through document templates, letterhead, and logo usage. They support proposal development and manage past performance citations, resumes, and proposal reuse materials' libraries. Proposal coordinators also engage in proposal section coordination, final formatting, assembly, packaging, and delivery.

Proposal coordinators typically hold a bachelor's or master's degree in business or a similar field. They are expected to have experience in marketing or proposals and gain the skills in an office productivity suite like Microsoft Office and a design-based software such as Microsoft Publisher or Adobe.

Proposal coordinator reviews

profile
A zippia user wrote a review on Jun 2019
Pros

I am detail oriented with respect to all the requirements of the RFP, from initial "scrubbing" to compliance and review. I have managed writer submissions, tracking against established timeline and ensuring changes through final in-house review to include editing, proofing, and submission of the bid. I am also interested in editing/proofing nonscientific publications

Cons

Team contributors who miss deadlines or fail to address the specific requirements that in turn affect the process.
