Kendall Auto Group protective signal installer job description

Kendall Auto Group is one of the largest family owned and operated dealers in the state of Alaska. We are seeking an energetic Paint Protection Film Installer to join our team. We are seeking candidates who are self-motivated, willing to learn, and have good time management. As a PPF Installer you would be responsible for the continued growth, quality, and providing excellent customer service. You should possess a good work ethic and be able to function effectively in a team environment. This is not an entry level position, pay for this position will be hourly or flat rate depending on experience.

Job duties will include washing vehicles that will have a clear film shield installed. Duties include washing all portions of the vehicle including waxing, closely inspect vehicle for scratches or imperfections, and other work that prepares vehicle for the clear film installation.

At least one year of detailing experience in a dealership setting, large shop, or detail shop is required to apply. Required schedule is Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, weekend or after-hours work may be available depending on work available. Candidate must have the capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models, have a good driving record and valid driver license.

Work is primarily performed indoors in a shop environment, exposure to noise, vibration, dust, paint, cleaning solutions, and other hazardous materials throughout work shift, use of general hand tools, bending, twisting, and crouching will be required frequently to perform job duties, climbing and reaching will be required often to clean all parts of vehicles and pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds of force occasionally performed.
